Well also rode yesterday for a bit on the bmw

Today we gave the Dragon a turn, up the goat trail thru Bear Mtn Park and up into the 7 lakes.

Seems there is always a nice crosswind as you cross the Bear Mtn bridge on the east side and today was no exception. It felt really nice to be out and about

Must have seen a dozen bikes out today,  Dave from Nanuet,
did you get out?

Lungs are feeling pretty good, not recovered but out of the woods I think.  Perhaps I am about over whatever the hell it was, Doubt I will ever really know since could not get tested but if it wasnt covid19 I sure do not want to try that bad boy out down the road,  Maybe they will come up with a test later so I and a million others can know if we had it and now have antibodies

OSS, great to hear you are feeling better. Wind therapy can help a lot.

Glad you're getting better  cooldude

I planned to ride today, but I worked this morning (good came of it  Smiley ), went to Lowes for
more shed material and went to the grocery store. And they started Gunsmoke over
from season 1, so I watched two 1/2 hour episodes at lunch...

Oss, glad to hear you are on the mend.  PMS is tough on us all.

I did slip out on Friday, only day this week it didn't snow/rain.  Thankfully the ground/roads are warm enough the snow is not sticking.   60 miles is a short ride.  Mid 40's is just not enjoyable for riding longer periods.   Did enjoy it even with the cool temps.  Not much traffic, and got to see a bunch of hawks and one Bald eagle.  Even enjoyed seeing our squeakers (local ground squirrels) running across the road.   Plus the pelicans are back.  Sure sign of spring.

I'm jealous. Alberta is stuck in the Arctic Doldrums for at least the next two weeks. I am glad we decided to buy the 350Z last fall...at least it is something, especially with the forceful covid 'mandate' to extract all the fun out of life around here. We can at least drive one of the scenic routes around here on a sunny day without freezing to death. I am really looking forward to cutting the lawn again!!

Did it again today only better

Made it all the way across 106 out the west side of Harriman.  About 100 miles in high 50's temp

Definitely my riding skill today and yesterday was not up to par

Maybe I have a touch of vertigo as the downhill parts with the twists were abysmal but the uphill parts on the way back were bad but not as bad   Undecided   Had the Valk over 85 for a good part of the ride back on 9 no issues there.

Also I found a electric sign on the side of the Palisades Parkway that had a # to call for testing by appt only. So Bonnie and I are calling tomorrow to see if we can get tested    angel

Will be nice to know once and for all if I can get the sticker that says I survived Covid19 or at least a lollipop

Sorry to hear you are still stuck Alberta !   But a Z is nice .

went for a 12 mile bicycle ride today on our local bike trail and very weird.  Normally we see NO ONE out this time of year on the bicycle trail.  Today we saw about 50 people walking and biking and running it seems this virus is bringing everyone out to enjoy the 60 degree high for today.  At 6 p.m. had time to call into my insurance and get cycles off winter policy and went for about 30 miles on cycle as well as the sun was near setting blinding me in the eyes coming back home.   Hope not of things to come saw a deer going full throttle across the cornfield coming at me so slowed down but the car cresting the hill coming at me near hit the deer then saw another deer up over the hill coming back down dead alongside the road.  memories of dead deer and live deer coming at me sure hope not signs to come for first day out today in 2020.  Man,  I need to learn my lesson though and doing 75 in a 55 sure felt good but best slower down not get my 1st ticket....  I guess I can blame it on the sun blinding me since unable to see the dash area which is true but doubt the police will see it that way.
