So many colors to choose from yet so few stand out

My wife and I have taken the Surgeon General's advice and have been practicing Social Distancing for quite a while now.   Have observed different folks at grocery stores, convenience stores, Lowe's and many other places and most folks are trying to keep their distance.

But, today I saw something that made me laugh out loud.   We were sitting at a traffic light waiting on our green to turn.   We were near a local hotel and it's parking lot.   Two guys were sitting on the hotel sign brick about 8 feet apart, the wife commented that they were being "Socially Responsible" and doing the safe thing.

She had barely gotten that sentence out when one dude took (what looked to be a cigarette, maybe) out of his mouth and reached out and handed it to the other dude who immediately stuck it in his mouth and took a deep breath.   Then he handed it back to the first dude.   But, they were doing their best to stay apart.   Roll Eyes  I almost missed the green light turning because I was laughing so hard.    2funny

Ya just can't fix stupid.   uglystupid2

LOL!  In truth it may have been less risky than you may have thought.  We're told the virus doesn't do well at all in hot dry air.  Perhaps we should all take up smoking during this epidemic but not long enough to do lung damage to ourselves.   Wink

Ok....always wanted to try a pipe, maybe now is the time.  Roll Eyes On second thought, I've gone 55 yrs. without tobacco so guess I won't start now. The story is kinda funny though, much like what I saw in the grocery store today. What appeared to be man and wife with face masks on were walking down the aisle in front of me. The man sneezed into his mask, his wife handed him a tissue, he wiped his nose and mouth and handed it back to her....she put it in her purse I assume to discard it later. At which time it would be too late if he was a carrier. I turned around and exited that aisle....just in case.  uglystupid2
