I read about this a couple weeks ago and was disgusted, it was around a time where I had posted a shout out to all those people working hard driving the trucks to keep out supplies moving.

https://www.nj.com/crime/2020/04/my-whole-face-was-bleeding-3-teens-tossed-cinderblock-at-truck-on-turnpike-cops-say.html

State police arrested and charged three teenagers with throwing a cinderblock off an overpass that injured a truck driver on the New Jersey Turnpike last month.

State Police charged a 17-year-old male from Elmer, a 16-year-old male from Penns Grove, and a 16-year-old male from Pittsgrove with aggravated assault, criminal mischief, and disorderly conduct on Friday, police said.

Did I kill somebody?’” The other driver explained that he saw a cinderblock hanging from the overpass by an orange and black rope just before the impact.

I understand being mischievous but this is far from that

Charge them with terrorism.  They used violence to disrupt a critical supply line.

Years ago, some douche threw a bowling ball off an overpass and killed someone.

Ever since, I'm always eyeballin' any folks loitering on any overpasses I'm driving under, especially if I'm on my bike.  I've even changed lanes on short notice.

People that do that should be thrown off an overpass.... attached to a rope.

As a Former Over the Road Trucker I've seen the aftermath of similar chit. It weren't pretty. That windshield that Is the front of our Office can and has been broken by bird strikes.  Lips Sealed Couple of trucker strikes in the 70s and 80s left me skittish fer a long danged time around viaducts I passed under. There have been cage drivers killed in similar scenarios Not sure if Truck Drivers have. Charge the little darlins as Adults then lock em up and throw away the key. RIDE SAFE.

Several years ago a similar incident when a friends drove their boat under a bridge in NYC someone dropped a box of rocks  sashing on the deck of the boat to this day I'm very concerned with driving under bridges!  I have a few to drive under today.  Moving my boat from the Hudson River to Stamford CT about a 2.5 hour trip with several bridges one of which is the one my friend had his incident.
