They say they're going to use the bank info you have in your tax return when making the deposit. That presens a problem for me, I've not taken a full refund or paid anything for at least ten years. I always carry over any refund to the next year. About two years ago I took a partial refund but it came by check, not a direct deposit. So if the IRS doesn't have my bank deposit info, how are they going to get the money to me...by check maybe?  ???

I went on that site a couple days ago....it's supposedly for non-filers. I'm not a non-filer so didn't enter any info. Two other things come to mind; I filed 2019 from my new address in Wisconsin(a/k/a north pole), and it was the last joint filing due to my wife's death in 2019. Makes me wonder if I'll get $1200 or $2400, and if I get the latter do I return the $1200. Guess I'll find out soon enough!  Undecided

Serk, this is not our money.  Our money has been already spent.  This is money borrowed against our grandchildren's income.   Shocked

I'm thinking you get a S.S. payment by direct deposit, right?  They will most likely use that info, and I heard us geezers might be first in line because of this. We'll see.
One thing is for sure, a paper check will take the longest. Tongue

It's pretty simple. Just go in the bank and tell the teller you want the money in small bills. Wear your mask.

one thing is for sure,   that chart is definitely not the flattening the curve chart..    when it comes to this virus.  Is sad to see since the 1980s and current how much that chart has spiked, most of my adult life.

Yep!   I’d also recommend saving as much as possible cause I fully expect Uncle Sugar to want some (if not all) of it back in future tax years.
