South Carolina

Today is a beautiful day. South Carolina is "locked down", but I don't
guess I'll get thrown in the pokey or endanger anyone if I run a
tank of gas through the red bike on back roads  cooldude

The dogwoods are in their prime right now. All through the woods,
and in everyone's front yards...

Check out this tranquil neighborhood I passed through...

I crossed the bridge over into Georgia and they had a large flashing
sign: Social Distancing Enforced! That lady out for a walk smiled
and waved as I went over into the far lane to go past...

I wasn't the only one out for a joy ride...

Nearly back home I passed some folks plowing with mules...

That feller was about done, but they had more lined up ready to go...

All is right with the world on a spring day from the back of a Valkyrie...

Americana!  cooldude

Not sure I share msb's love of cottonwoods.  Snows two different seasons around here, one of 'em from the trees!

Have you ever noticed when you're feeling really good,
there's always a pigeon that'll come sh!t on your hood?

I should have done that myself today.  It was a lovely day.  However, next week will be dfirrent.  I will take some rides with my wife and we will enjoy the spring time weather.

Oh, I did ride and get my tank filled up today.  Had to verify the new front disk pads were working properly.

Americana - another of my favorite singers from the 70's, 80's is Moe Bandy... his song Americana always comes into my head when I'm riding the backroads on a long trip in the US... or Canada for that matter . Perfectly describes the feeling of slowing down and taking the long route through all the small towns... best part of riding.

Cottonwoods... ya, pretty to look at, as for the sinuses, not so much...

Nice ride.  Good pix.

I like the dogwoods.  Around here I like sometimes seeing a mix of dogwoods and red buds.  Do you have red buds in S.C.?

I calculated how to build the front wall with the rough opening for the doors.

Yes, there's a good redbud right outside my window, but they are past their
prime here now... there were some good Tennessee ones in a picture
Smokin' Joe posted the other day...
