Sounds to me anywho like big brother deciding what is and what isn't essential. Reading different repors from different areas of the U S of A and local or state gubmint saying one thing and the retailer sayin something else. Kinda like an old 3 stooges sketch every one point to their right. You KNOW how that went. Heven't heard of any of this going on here in SoMo But on the other hand I'm not gittin out much lately. I M H O do we need the gubmint telling us what we can and can't buy? Yeah-didn't think so. Any one having this happen in your area? Curious minds and likea dat. RIDE SAFE.

yah heard some stores are limiting in certain areas ONLY to buy ESSENTIAL items they decide as ESSENTIAL and blocking off the aisles to shop that what they consider NOT essential. have not seen that yet and hope not to. I for one will not stand outside say Costco or any other store for 15-20 minutes to wait to go shopping into any store. Doubt that will happen in my area but surely can see in more congested higher volume populations that happening a lot. ONLY backlog of traffic I have seen twice now is the Culvers drive thru in 2 separate towns nearby with 15-20 car backlogged up to main hwy. even to get a hamburger basket. Gee, idling a vehicle running in line for 20-25 minutes to get a 7 dollar meal seems to be a waste of gas although it just went down to record level 99 cents per gallon something I have not seen since the 1980s.

The state of Michigan is out of control. For example in the local Lowes they have taped off the paint department and the garden center (including seeds, fertilizer, etc.) because the stay at home order forced them to do so. No rational person can understand why they don't want you working in your own home or outside in your yard. They are trying to close down pretty much all business in the state, even the car washes yet the liquor and pot shops are considered essential businesses.

If husbands that are having to stay home aren't able to purchase what they need to complete things on the "Honey Do" list. I see a dramatic increase in domestic violence cases.

That somebody else deciding what I can buy and what I can't buy is the rub. I would imagine in some deez controlled areas they will make weapons and ammo purchases a bit more difficult. Right here in Missouri on the A M "news" today a pet groomer was shutdown bye Springfield city BUT the Gov of Mo decreed pet groomers as essential. And while not sure I believe the pot shops are essential. I sorta kinda understand the 10 person limit and the Why of restaurants not having seating now. Big brother 1984 all work for the collective shut up sit down do as we say not as we do eat yer mush cuz the state has determined it's good fer ya. Also heard the Smithfield one of The largest pork producers has shut down due to c19. That's All we need-a crimp in our bacon supply! RIDE SAFE.

Home Depot and Menards around here are usually busy with melon list items. The other day Aldi was only allowing a certain number of customers in the store. They locked up the shopping carts and had an employee allowing someone in when someone came out. They were also sanitizing the carts. They used a certain number of carts. We did sneak into Wisconsin and only once saw a presence of police force. At one time there were six vehicles headed south.

What I find intolerable is Dimwitmer in MI says you can fish, canoe or kayak, but can't use a motor boat to fish. Can bicycle, but can't ride a motorcycle. She is delusional, and has overstepped her authority. I hope the citizens of MI realize the mistake they made in electing her and recall her dumb ass.

I didn't see where That Woman from Michigan (Governor Crazy Eyes) said we can't ride motorcycles. There are lots of them on the road in my area... The non-motorized boat thing is to prevent people from congregating at the boat launches. The gardening and paint thing makes no sense at all. She is completely incompetent and is delusional to believe she can run the country as president. She is not qualified to run a sorority house as president.

Visited Home Depot yesterday to pick up several "honey do" items. Had to wait in line outside (sunny warm day), they were limiting folks in the store. It moved pretty quick, not a big problem. The one item the DW really wanted was a quart of white paint. Paint section was closed off. Had to stand in line to request what you wanted, they would go get it for you. There we some 6-8 folks waiting, decided not to get paint. Will go back. By the way, one of the items need was a hook to hold shed door open. Yeah a real essential item. Hey this is a town of around 20K, can't imagine what its like in bigger cities.

Talked with my Friend and the Butcher at the store I frequent. The 10 lb box of bacon bits and pieces but most generally turns out the be thick sliced jumped in a couple days from $19.00 to $28.00. Told him to hold a box for me and he did NOT dispute my assertion that it may well jump to $40.00 a box. Also ordered a box-12 one lb rolls-of the Williams mild sausage I prefer. Have NO idea how much the Williams sausage jumped up but am Sure he Will let me know. Also if he has it he makes in store a sausage the is utterly fantastic for the sausage gravy for biscuits and gravy! The little Lady across the street-Gwens Grandsons wife Lacy-made me a dinner plate last night. Most Excellent food B T W. She is also expecting and she informed me she can NOT find baby wipes anywhere. Told her when i go out i will have a look see for the wipes. And she is also considering good ol fashioned cloth diapers cuz the newer synthetic crap catchers are in short supply. And as i already stated my gun shop here having difficulties getting weapons repair parts for weapons and ammo. Wish i had betta news. RIDE SAFE.

The big BROTHER has always told us what to do and what not to do, but in more subtle ways. These days they just push some buttons to see how we react in the face of this "in your face" attitude, and since there is no push back they'll keep doing it. In 2001 were the terrorist they blame for enacting The Patriot Crap and in 2020 is a "virus" that originated on Mars to tell us when to stay at home and when not, what is essential and what is not, etc I'm looking forward to glorious things to come... I'm extremely excited about a future that appears so bright that I'm gonna need not one, but two pairs of sunglasses!
