due to Covid 19.

off and on weeks thru end of May supposedly if the company does not go belly up before then.   Smiley

Was in the WI unemployment system already last in Dec. 2017 for my 2 back employers but wondering it was the same exact questions as 2017 and when I clicked file here due to COVID 19 it looked identical to 2017 so wondering if it took?  The 1 week waiting period in WI has been officially dropped so just now system today being 4-19 let me do ending week for this 4-19 to 4-25 already not so sure it took though since normally have to wait until AFTER the week is over to do it being NEXT Sunday ?   Figured since read rumors that the state of WI is 4-7 weeks behind on getting payments out, every week counts.

Also, wondering since exact same questions as 2017 with no 'specific' question stating working reduced hours 'due to covid 19' it went thru correctly and sure hate to call state of WI unemployment heard they are backlogged hours on hold and hired 200 part timers to process all these claims happening now, thus the backlog of sending out payments out 4-7 weeks in the rear.  I just want to make sure WI knows is due to COVID 19 not normal unemployment so I get my extra 600 bucks per week.

ONLY good thing (besides not working 3-4 weeks next 2 months) is the state of WI is also shelling out 600 weekly payout on top of normal unemployment pay which is more than I make per week anyways 600 bucks.  Hard to go wrong with near double the paycheck so told my boss on Friday if the other 2 ladies want to work all my hours feel free to give all my hours next 2 months to them both am fine with that making near double pay for next 6-7 weeks or so NOT going into work and actually doing the work.    One co-worker lady cannot file unemployment age 68  on social security and only working 20 hours week while the other one age 60 am sure would rather be working than dealing with the unemployment office since her at home internet speed is sketchy at best living in the country.    BOSS am sure did not like it but why not tell her how I feel, right?   coolsmiley    She knows the REAL reason and told me dozens of times why both older ladies have to work together doing what I can do by myself weekly seeing as how 1 of the 2 older ladies is incompetent to work alone more than 1 day falling way behind on workload.  I told BOSS on Friday as have told her 10xs previously the last 1 year then do something about it.   tickedoff   All boss says back is it is all documented and she is working on it.  I say BS on that has been going on 3 years now and nothing done,  all it is is an excuse to make me work near 2 full time jobs for one low pay blaming others for her incompetent behavior or lack thereof always saying 'her hands are tied' when it comes to payraises or bonuses.  I say to her have you EVER asked which her excuse yet again says she has NO control over bonuses or pay raises.  I then feel like saying to her why is she a supervisor then, especially making 100K or over per year for what I feel is worth pennies on the dollar paid to her?   tickedoff   She sucks up to her yet another useless boss is all it is appeasing her beckon call - 2 peas in a pod.  5 in our entire small 15 or so dept. have left in little over 1 year, wonder why?   uglystupid2

BOSS knows she cannot get COVID 19 assistance since makes over 100K year threshold filing single so no extra 600 weekly pay oh well she not worth to me a roll of pennies anyways but must still make her mnthly house pymts on her 4500 sq. ft. house just built for her being single.  Why 1-2 people need a 4500sq. ft. new home is beyond my train of thought?  uglystupid2   There is a GREAT reason why her best friend at work having to work closely with her daily past 6 months QUIT on her to go work elsewhere - micromanager and clueless/useless Angry

Our 2400 married stimulus check has not come yet since am sure since we had to pay in our federal taxes in 2018 and have not filed 2019 taxes yet since extended thru July 2020 am sure paying into federal govt. again we did NOT give your banking direct deposit information to them.   I heard some in our office doing direct deposit has gotten the 2400 married deposit automatically in their checking accounts but we have to wait to get real check mailed to us sounds like.  Correct?   I read up just now and seems if you do not have direct deposit info. from last 2018 taxes setup back when did 2018 taxes since we did NOT have direct deposit info. having to pay in and have NOT done 2019 taxes yet since extended thru July 2020 already knowing we have to pay in as usual each year,  I guess I have to wait for a 2400 check in the mail signed by MR TRUMP himself.

That site is of no value if the IRS doens't have your direct deposit info. I've not taken a refund in years except for a couple years ago I took half and it came in a check. If you have no refund, there's no place I've found to enter your bank info which the SS uses for my monthly deposit, and my State of Fla. pension also uses it for direct deposit. Guess I also just have to wait for a paper check unless they add it to my May SS deposit. That would be a nice $4500 surprise.  Wink

that is my way of thinking as well John.  NO refund in 2018 and federal govt. does not have my direct deposit info. since having to pay in all these years,  so have to wait who knows how long to get 2400 stimulus check being married, supposedly signed by MR TRUMP himself.   (1200 single).     I know one lady at work last week said her direct deposit 2400 check came last week Wednesday auto applied/direct deposited.

My kid will also have to wait for his 1200 bucks in single check mailed out he desperately needs kicked off UW college campus as all have helping with monthly rent in an apt. up there since he took out closing fully his checking account/direct deposit info.  in my small hometown bank to transfer funds to Eau Claire bank up there 3 hours away in 2019.    So, the federal govt. does not have his direct deposit banking info. either.   He did find a job up there though, although not permanent, last week stocking shelves/wiping down carts, etc.  (not exactly the safest job to have at the moment)  at local grocery store pays 13.90 hr. normal pay but during this virus will be extra 2 bucks so 15.90 is GREAT pay IMO, told him near what I am making AFTER 30+ years of working full time.  Cry

good for you, at least that link given was helpful on date when check will be mailed to you.  I tried it and said eligibility status unknown at this time and to exit.

I guess we should give more into the federal govt. in our bi-weekly paychecks in terms of taxation vs. shelling out some dough come tax time to the federal govt.  We do that because I refuse to give any money upfront we earned way ahead of time to the govt. but also since our WI taxes getting a smaller refund almost makes up for what we have to pay into the federal govt., at least enough of a difference so as to not coughing up 1,000's in difference to the feds.   tickedoff

I asked my ex-neighbors who make more than us (guessing 20-30K more total both of them)  filing married jointly and they always say they get money back both federal and state, they must really put more money into withholdings on their paychecks than we do.  Heck,  we have to pay bills ya know vs. just eating bread and water all the time.   I cannot remember the last time we went out to eat several months ago before this winter, guessing was to Culvers (fast food joint) and I always get either the kids meal or snack packs at 5.99 each is all.   Grin
