Our Interstate riding, troop welcoming, catfish run organizing, SCRC Family Reunion inviting, hot wing contributing, picture and video taking all-around good guy, Baron, got a new hip today. I just spoke with him and he sounded groggy, but fine. Let's load him up with VRCC emails. They delivered a LARGE stack of e-mails today, so many they put them in an envelope - around 3pm. You guys/gals really came thru!
Word is the joint was so arthritic they put in a new two piece metal hip. Been up and walked the hall earlier today. Looks like he is on vacation! Seriously, "Baron" has good color and is eating good.
If you're going to visit, take the road that is just east and parallel to the transit line, running north/south. I think it is named Jackson, to the north side of the Jackson Bldg. Shares a parking lot with The Margot Perot Bldg. The Hamon Bld. is the new one that is just southeast of the Jackson Bldg. and south - mostly east of the M. Perot Bldg. Not far from Jason's or Jake's. ~Jeff

You all are great, all the emails and phone calls lifted my spirits  to a new high. Jeff even brought me some fresh baked brownies and they were great, Thanks Jeff. Hopefully the new hip, which I ordered in chrome, will do me some good and as soon as I can I will be back on the road planning more rides. I just got home so I am going to get use to my new walker but I hope this is just short term. Ride safe and stay warm! |
