I like the red bike  Smiley ...

I stopped at this place when I first got my Valkyrie and started exploring
the back roads in my neighborhood. Mike Terry put this picture in his
calendar that year:

I stopped there again today...

I stopped in front of this old cabin, but mostly got a good sun filled
picture of a red Valkyrie...

How long ago that you got your Valk? It's interesting to see what one adds to or changes on  his bike over the years...

I learned about Valkyries in 2006. I was shocked to find that they didn't make them
anymore. By the end of 2006 I had gotten my red and white through ebay in
Philadelphia.

Nice pics  Mike.

I sucked down a tank on the Bullet a couple days ago,  and just over a half tank on  Ruby today.   All  12 carbs survived the long winter! I always worry a bit about that each spring.  It sure feels good to have  the girls out again!

Now to get this green trunk painted and figure out the wiring setup and lock innards swap out.  I don't want to carry two keys for one bike!

The first thing I'm going to do when I get the tin on the new shed
is change my 1800s bars back to the real Valkyrie bars instead of
the whacky bars I put on there last summer. I made the mistake
of riding the black bike and the red bike back-to-back one day.
I HATE HATE HATE the bars on there now.

I don't want to carry two keys for one bike!

The little door broke off inside my ignition switch and jammed
up the works. Back then you could order all new locksets for
Tourers for about $125...

You can take that lock apart and remey it yourself. If you don’t feel comfortable about that take it to A Locksmith $30 and 5 Minutes will donthe trick.

Doesn't it depend upon whether the lock you're trying to match is the same orientation as the one you're changing?  Valkyries have two types of locks, left offset and right offset.  If the key will go into the lock the lock can be rekeyed to match.
