Well, my riding bud and neighbor, DOYOUSEEWHATHAPPENSLARRY, (Larry Kaneko), is losing lung function and could use your thoughts and prayers. This is not a covid19 issue, but related to his years as a baker. They believe it is from years of inhaling flour and cooking sprays. He is severely short of breath, and having trouble eating and sleeping, and has lost quite a bit of weight. Please keep Larry, his wife TWOBOTTLES (Jane), and daughter, Emmy, in your thoughts and prayers.

Prayers out to Larry (great handle) for relief and comfort and strength, and to Jane and Emmy for strength while they support him with their love and grace.

Prayers sent up from South Carolina... my daddy was a sign painter. Everything in his shop was this grey/green color, the color of years of accumulation of every color of paint there is. I'm sure the inside of his lungs were that color! The luthier I know has reduced lung function from all the wood dust from wood he's cut. Lungs hate constant particulate...

Thoughts and well wishes sent.
I worked in a bakery briefly in high school. 1st day, the baker sent me to get cinnamon from the storeroom. He handed me a can to fill and sent me on my way. The cinnamon was stored in a 3 foot tall tube that had a diameter of about a foot. I opened the top of the tube which was about 1/2 full and saw a scoop sitting in there. I bent over the tube, reached down, grabbed the scoop, and dug into the cinnamon to fill the scoop. As soon as I did that, a big cloud of cinnamon wafted up into my face, just as I inhaled a breath. The cinnamon cloud burnt my nose and throat and knocked me flat on my ass gasping for breath. Nobody could hear me down in the basement as I rolled around in agony for about 5 minutes until I was able to see through the tears and breath without it burning. When I composed myself, I went upstairs and brought the baker his cinnamon. He looked at me and said "Cinnamon got you???"

Prays for him, and the family.
I lost my dad to lung cancer. My BIL has lung issues from working on the water front in the grain elevators, and we ship a lot of grain off the continent.
