I know things are not normal any longer...

A month ago I ordered front pads for my interstate thru JP Cycles...along with front rubber....Tire showed up within two days. Pads however have not arrived...several calls into JP and they seem to be taking this social distancing thing to a new level....needless to say, the weather is getting nicer and I have about 500 miles of pads left.

Knowing this, I call the local dealer for the same exactly pads ($31) from JP...to $78 at local stealership...

What are you guys seeing for pricing??

05-13

I assume we're talking aftermarket pads, since the OEM Honda versions are $50.93 (x 2) at Partzilla.

J & P has always offered good service, but I've found their prices to be typical/high MSRP; still, $31 for a complete set of front shoes seems like a darn good price.

Your local dealer (like many, I suspect) is obviously exercising their right to charge whatever they think the current market will bear.  However, with the social distancing advantages of mail order, they might do better shifting their pricing structure in the opposite direction.

I hope it all works out for you.

I bought these, installed a couple thousand miles ago and have been satisfied. A complete set for $21.99 shipped.

They will likely not last as long as OEM, but are easy on rotors and do the job.

They say 2000-2003 Interstate (I can't say I have ever seen or heard of 2002 or 2003 interstates), but i believe it will fit all Valks.

I purchased the Kapscomoto  pads last fall and they do fit fine. I cant say they were specified as 2000 - 2003. I havent run the bike yet, but if they are eazy on the the rotors, thats a plus for me.
