I've been using an older model of this (red in color), but they have made some upgrades that make it easier and better.  It will now directly hook up to your 3.5mm aux (headphone style) input inside your right side panel, and it comes with an antenna for better reception.  The new version powers via micro USB.

My older model is still working great and it's still sold on eBay, but I thought I'd pass this along for those who are looking for an easy way to run Bluetooth sound from your devices directly through your factory stereo and speakers.

Another model with built in antenna and micro SD card capability. :

Hi Valkorado,
Older thread but good info. I purchased one of these Bluetooth receivers for my 2000 Interstate but it came with zero instructions.
I see the mini jack inside the right side cover but wondered about the two red/white RCA connections.
Do I hook up the one minijack and ignore the RCA plugs?
Thanks.

I would say yes ignore the rca jacks.  As the aux input jack goes straight to the stereo.

Bighead is right.  Mine is an older model that didn't have the 3.5 input, I had to get an RCA to 3.5 mm adapter.  Yours should be plug and play as is.

Next question: how did you power it up from the USB input?
Battery pigtail to USB regular to USB mini?
Thanks!

I’m in the process of installing a smaller Bluetooth unit. It’s about the size of a silver dollar and about 3/8” thick. Plugs into usb for power and headphone jack under seat. I can also answer the phone with it. Redueing the top cover in black and did away with the two cb buttons. So far working out great. I’ll post pictures when finished.
