If you run Moonshiners 28 South down to just above Seneca, turn east onto 123 and then back north on 178. It's a nice road with long sweepers and sections of much tighter curves.  Run that up to 64 and turn west on 64. It's a nice ride that will run you back to the Highlands.

Stop at the Ugly Dog Pub in the Highlands for an adult beverage, or the Highlands Smokehouse for some decent BBQ as you head back to 28

Go on google maps and look at the little white lines.

A quick suggestion route. For some twisty roads, get on the Blue Ridge Parkway headed southwestern. Take the exits as you come to them. Go one way down, turn around, go, back up and then down the other side. Going south from the hotel, I know 151 is a twisty road. Come back up to the Parkway, continue southward and take 276 westward. Turn around at the Juke Box Junction (restaurant) and go back up to the Parkway. Continue on down the other side until you get to Hawg Wild BBQ near 64. Go back up and continue southwestward until you get to 215. Once again, pick a side and head down from there. One side takes you to The Juke Box Junction. Go back up and over down to 64. Go SW on 64  and turn north on 281. At Tuckasegee turn south on 107 and run it down to 64. If that's enough, take 64 northeasterly home.

Any little white squiggly line would be a fun ride.

Pick just about any 2 lane that runs up and over the mountains, it will lead to another and then another.

Most of the roads in that area are good riding roads.
