A much LONGER sentence for lori loughlin and her husband. 2 months for her 5 months for him. Course they see themselves as hollyweird elite. Maybe 9 years and 365 days? Or a year for every 100 dollars of bribe money paid? Other comments be welcome cuz i personally am beyond upset. RIDE SAFE.

Trying to buy your kids into better schools than they can qualify for is small potatoes.

I'd rather see sentences for bribe taking university officials than the parents.  Socialists are supposed to be against bribery (they prefer to take your money by force, not let you give it to them quietly).

I agree 100%.  It's not something that any one of us wouldn't do if we had the resources and it would get our child into a higher quality reputation school.

So paying tuition that puts a middle classed student into debt the size of a home mortgage to be spent on who knows what is okay?  Somehow giving money beyond that extortionist tuition needs to be punished?  Makes no sense to me.

Probably could have made a legitimate donation and got the kids into the school. As athletes, they probably got tutors and a degree.

Instead of jail time, the (wealthy) parents should be sentenced to a year of Community College.

Oh the Horror.
