It was delicious, but with the prices the bar was charging I held off on the beverages other than water until we got home and I could get a nice single malt scotch..... (Anthony Hopkins sounds here....)

I do have to mention though, that night I saw one of the saddest things I've ever seen.... I had to resist going up and talking to the young lady, and explain that one day she'd look up from her phone, and grandma wouldn't be there.....



Table behind us had a young lady, 12-13 years old, and what appeared to be her grandmother....

The young lady had her ear buds in her ears, and for the entire meal, never looked up from her phone.

Her grandmother (Assumed) might as well have been dining alone.

cursed near brought me to tears.....

Proud my kids at least look up from their devices and engage their elders.... Seeing the grandma just..... sitting there alone..... hurt..... deeply.....
