I need the brass bushing that goes under the turn signal switch actuator. It is under the washer (circled in red), under the actuator, and above the plate. The actuator slides on top of and around the bushing.

The bushing is not sold invididually. I hate to buy a new (or even used) entire switch. If someone has a damaged switch, I need only the bushing. I was cleaning mine today and did not realize there was a bushing under the actuator. The bushing fell out (I did not realize that at the time) and I cannot find it.

If you have one to sell, great. If someone has a spare that I can borrow (so I can fabricate my own), I will pay for postage and promptly send the original back. Or if someone can even give me measurements?

I really need some help here. What I thought was going to be a simple project now has me grounded.

PM or email me at [my member name] @ either gmail or yahoo [the last character in my name is a zero, not a capital "oh"].

HELP (and TIA).

The good news is I'm back on the road. Managed to improvise with small piece of rubber/plastic hose and a small washer. Works--not too smooth--but works.  Still need a brass bushing.

How about a piece of copper pipe?

Find the correct size cut off the length needed and smooth the edges and install. If you need the top to flair you can do that also or from the looks get a smaller washer and put that on top to hold the piece of pipe down.

Unfortunately you can’t even just buy the switch. You have purchase the whole unit. I would search around again, it might have fallen inside the unit.

I'm sure I could fabricate something, but I would like to have some precise dimensions.

I've looked everywhere. I did not know the bushing even existed until I was going to put it back together. My theory is it dropped on my garage floor, I stepped on it, and carried to who knows where with my shoe.

As I said, I am back on the road, but my temporary fix needs to be improved.
