As I said a few days ago
there is a difference between BIAS and RACISM
We all have cultural bias ALL OF US
That does not make you a racist
It irks me that so many people of color will choose to defend a lowlife and riot over it
Yet when a person of color kills a person of color NO outrage.
This is the real problem and it is reverse racism
But when a black girl calls out her people she is threatened. So what to do? Beats me
except to say you commit the crime be ready to do the time, if you live long enough to be arrested
well said OSS, wish I had an answer to this dilema?
wishful thinking Al Sharpton's message today in the service in MN but doubt it will change much over 400 years of racism?

Boy I hate to be the one who says it but it needs to be said, was George Floyd’s death racism? Do you have proof it was a crime based on his color?
There is no rewriting history, history is just that, history. It’s in the past, the only thing history is good for is to learn from it. But that being said, the world 400, 300, 200, 100 years ago is not the world today. While yes there are racists in the world and in this country, the majority of our nation are not racists.
Where do we go from here, I don’t know, there are too many issues revolving around the cry of racism.
First start with the police, what are police suppose to do with a criminal or suspect who is not compliant, who is argumentative, who is resisting arrest, who is being combative, belligerent, abusive and uncooperative? I have never heard of a criminal who is thankful for being arrested. Tasing is not always effective, people can’t be given a tranquilizer. How should a criminal who is as big a person as George Floyd was be handled if he forcibly resists arrest.
Believe me I’m not pro cop, but I am pro law enforcement and a criminal or suspected criminal cannot determine how his/her arrest goes down. I am against police brutality and over aggressive use of force, but there are times when use of force needs to be used and it doesn’t matter the color of the criminal/suspect.
It possible some good may come out of this, but I can’t help but wonder if only one of those cops would have taken a stance and said “Ok, that’s enough of this”. Those 3 officers who did not stop the neck kneeler will forever question themselves for not stepping up and doing the right thing, consequences be cursed and that includes losing their job or status on the force.
