I had the opportunity to ride to Tillamook, OR yesterday.  The weather was perfect.  Had a couple buddies ride along and we stopped for pizza and made the trip back to Chinook.  There was hardly any traffic and the views of the ocean were amazing.   Close to 150 miles.

Did you check out the factory at all?

I read they moved it, and closed it down for tours. I suspect they still sell product, but I always wanted to view the factory floor.

And for those who like the idea of making their own cheese, youtube has all the info that I couldn't find on the internet. Who knew?

Drove up to 101 to Tillamook several years ago.   Went to the factory, lots of folks were there also.  Factory is/was really something.   Had two scoops of ice cream, almost couldn't eat it all.   2funny

The factory is in the same location they recently remodeled. It was all closed to the public due to covid.  I went in years ago with a bunch of students.  We did a short tour and then had ice cream while observing from the upper level.  Other places were open for food, so not sure why the are still closed.  The sign said the would reopen but that was all.  No date.  I really like the smell of dairy land.
