88 and same humidity, even higher this morning

Got lucky sort of with pool

a hose popped off the pump to filter fitting last night and lost 500 gal before neighbor heard it
Pump shorted out from the dousing while running
Got a new 3/4 hp pump and hooked it up with 2 clamps  lots of teflon tape between the hose and fitting
no leaks or drips   Salt generator working on target

They would not let me in the store had to buy it from outside
was not expecting that as the pool store 25 miles north lets you in

Will get my first dip in the pool walking the vacuum hose around 230 before the Boomer comes thru

Always something  It is 72 in the water but will go up some with the solar cover   Bonnie will not go in till it hits 83 in the pool lol so I will get some peace and quiet

I am a cold weather person this is too hot to ride till I get used to it

I will never get USED to it but I will tolerate it till fall comes

I was going to ride today but last night I dreamt I had a wreck.

Chose to stay home and cut grass.

Phew. Warm and HUMID at 10.30 a.m.

Finished up feeling like I just walked out of a shower.

Since I posted in a complaint about the weather thread during the winter as a tease, I will now post in this one pointing out my local weather in my signature as penance.

I don’t know what the humidity is like there. But we have been in League City the last couple days for my uncle’s funeral. It’s 95 and 60% humidity right now. I’m used to the dryness.   Shocked

No AC all week, except a small bedroom window unit.  It's getting real old.

New system Monday.... yes!

60's with showers & sunbreaks forecast this week for the great northwest.

We could use a little heat right about now.

was in Tucson Arizona once back in the 1990's and the locals thought I was NUTS swimming in March in an outdoor pool at the hotel I was staying at in the mid 60s for temps and loving it warm warm warm compared to WI was at the time like -10 below zero.  Locals asked if I was from WI somehow knowing that,  said YEP!   Grin    I was the only one swimming in that outdoor pool still cannot imagine why when water temp in the guessing upper 60s or low 70s tops.    Ever do the polar plunge,  that will wake u up.

I really dislike as I get older the lower 90s or even upper 88/89 degree temps with mid 60% humidity like we got a few days ago.    I went outside to do stuff around the house and dripping sweat with shirt ringing wet said heck with doing yardwork/chores around the house turned on my Central AC unit and sat in 77 degree AC conditions rest of the day.

After a week of high 70's temps with lots of sun, woke up this morning to low 30's temps and wet stuff coming down.  Some of it looks like snow flaks but could be just my old eyes.

 No rides planned today.
