For me, the NBA went the same way the NFL went. Don't watch either. Smiley

I have not watched one full NBA game since early 1990s or so when Larry Bird from the Celtics retired.    Those great 80's NBA finals with 76ers,  Lakers, and Celtics were well worth watching.  Watched a little bit after that with Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls but not much have better things to do is like watching golf,  I can watch 5 minutes then get bored with it.

Pretty much the same with me. After the Jordan era I lost interest and I wasn't a Bull's fan either. Go Pacer's!!!?  2funny

Radio mentioned today players names can be removed on uniforms and replaced with "social justice messages".

The NBA can pretty much do whatever they want, it's their game and I personally haven't watched a game in at least 40 years.   I simply am not interested in a bunch of overpaid athletes.   That pretty much sums up my feeling on all professional sports.

I will admit to having grown up a KC Chiefs fan but rarely see a full game.

College ball will be going the same route as the Pros soon enough.   I'm a Kentucky Wildcat fan but, as NCAA loses control and players start getting paid for their images and other endorsements, they'll soon be just like the Pros.

The Nation is changing and not for the better.   Being responsible for one's own actions, health, well being and family is quickly dying out.   My bet is that in less than 25 years (those of us still around) will be living in a third world socialist country.

I have not been to any Pro sporting event in person LIVE since the tickets went over 30 bucks each...   2funny  Heck,  a lot of college games are 30 bucks each for supposedly 'the priviledge' of sitting in an already very tight seat next to someone even fatter than me....  Angry

The one and ONLY NFL game I have been to was if not the last but 2nd to last year Brett Favre for the Packers was playing the Redskins at home.    That was thru my wife's work getting tickets and free food/drinks at the restaurant near the stadium and a bus ride there and back for around 50 bucks each.

just saw that the NFL preseason games will be cut in half due to the virus.  Good, let it be more!   cooldude

I saw a women's soccer team just now kneeling for the anthem but a young lady was NOT kneeling since her immediate family had military members.    Sounds like NO MORE Anthem song will be played before games everywhere is my guess to avoid the issue all together would be my guess what will happen for all games played for all sports.
