Speaking of which, I got mine a month or two ago, and set it aside, deciding what to do with it.

After a very expensive new HVAC install last week, I decided to keep it, but could not find it anywhere yesterday.  It wasn't where I left it (in the G envelope), and I turned the place upside down looking.  Finally, down on the washer, I noticed all the detailed notes I took on getting a new HVAC system (I take notes on everything), and thought to throw it out.... but wait, that's a G envelope, and the check was still in there.  Just one step from the waste basket.

Then, I went to Costco yesterday, and got a bunch of good food, including one of their rotisserie chickens.  Afternoon, I thought I would have some, but it wasn't in the fridge where it should have been.  Not in the basement fridge either.  Checked the truck to see if it fell out of the big box, nope.  Checked the trash in case I threw it out, nope.  But the Costco receipt was in there, and I paid for one, but it never made it home with me.  WTF?

(Losing) These things is making me question my sanity, memory and brain.

Continuing the drift, I finally got my new TV (4K), and installed it.  Now what to do with a 13yo, 10 times heavier 37" TV.  I checked my trash collection website, and it was unclear what they do with TVs.  I got them on the phone (in NC, corporate HQ), and they said it was a $172 special pickup, and I said fat chance of that.  So I stuck it in one of my big dumpers and left it for regular trash pickup, and they took it.  I go out and give my trash pickup guys cold bottled water every time I can in summer, so that may have something to do with it.

No more private sales of firearms without a (universal) background FFL check starting today in VA.  BLOME!!

THX. I should look into this. I think JoAnn threw the debit card envelope away, she denies that though.

Yeah, and I'm not a big believer in gremlins, ghosts, or leprechauns.

I just don't want to turn into my own leprechaun.   crazy2

The nice lady on the phone said we should have received it as it was scheduled to be sent 5 weeks ago. Well I already knew that, the reason for the call. So I have to print out the special form and I'm now out of ink. So, off to the ink store tomorrow. 'Its always something.'

Ink? Wouldn't you print it to a PDF and then email it to them?

The number in the website. It was pretty much a waste of time.

Hmm, I'm too old fashioned I guess. Kinda computer illiterate. So I didn't think about that and I may not be able to figure it out. But I'll give it a try. Thanks.
