So, anyone ever have an ultimate seat? Need to find something more forgiving for my broken butt.

Many years back I bought a previously owned  Ultimate low rider seat for my 99 Valk IS.  Not something I would recommend as the nose of the low rider seat left NO ROOM for the boys if you get my drift. Sold it after a few months.  Still have a bit of a soprano voice from that experience.

I am assuming you would need the Ultimate Big Boy seat which is a totally different experience.

If I recall correctly Brett has had great experience with the Russel Day Long saddles.  I'm guessing he will offer his views of that seat . May  be next to impossible to get one of those made this time of year....

I have an Ultimate Big Boy on my Valk. Much more comfortable (for me, anyway) than the Corbin I had. I would probably be better off with the King, since I'm 6'3' or so, but it's still damn good. Seats are subjective, but you're welcome to try mine to see if it's something that might work for you.

I've had a number of aftermarket seats on a few bikes with varying success.  Had Ultimate on the Valkyrie and it was an improvement but not great. Deb hated the passenger seat of the Ultimate.
Other two seats were Russell's on the Wing and the Indian. Indian's was the most comfortable and that was probably because it was all leather. I had the current stock seat on the current Wing and that was a waste of money.
It really sucks that you almost have to roll the dice and spend sometimes more than a grand on something that is a very personal choice.
Many people rave about the Ultimate seat, If you go that route I think you need the Big Boy.

I had the Ultimate riders and passengers seats on the Valk....
Best I can say is it was more comfortable than stock !!!
Paul, look into MeanCityCycle for seat alterations....they re-worked my current seat
and I have had my ass in it for 70 plus thousand miles. They replace the stock padding
with a 'hospital grade' memory foam ....
Check out their website, maybe give them a toll free call......

I clicked too quick on this buy now recently. Turns out it isn't a King Big Boy but a Big Boy. Seller gave me a partial refund, but I already have a Big Boy, and this one is for the interstate. Thought It would sit closer to the tank than it does.  I jumped on the buy it now because I recognized the Handemade Utopia Backrest, and those go for at least $200 new.
I was going to wait until next spring and flip the Utopia and Big Boy Driver and Passenger on Ebay, but if you have an interstate and want a Big Boy, this one is in good used condition. I am in West Springfield, close to the Big E.  If you want to take a ride out and try it out, you can stop by at some point.

True, but that information was not included in his post on a Valkyrie Board. Not surprised that Valkyrie riders posted to be helpful. What a great bunch.  cooldude
