Sometimes ya just gotta go...

Winter Springs, FL - Occasionally...

« on: July 09, 2020, 10:49:51 AM »

And so it came to pass that on May 30 of this year, our girl transported this hopeless gypsy off on another road trip… The Chinese Cooties had had us sidelined for a couple of months, and… you know… cabin fever had gotten the better of us. Abandoning all of the doom & gloom advice on the news and throwing caution completely to the wind, we first set our sights on Tennessee and… a little business needing attention…

Besides the addition of a companion for the following couple of weeks, we were also in need of a new rear tire, rear-end service, and oil & filter change. Prior arrangements meant we would meet at MitchO’s most impressive place near Crossville, TN, for the work to be accomplished… The new tire having been drop-shipped to Big Wolf’s place nearby… All went as planned, plus one little unexpected twist…

See, Waterbug is well-known in the Valk community for several well-deserved reasons, and one of those happens to be her prowess at producing pralines of exceptional caliber. And, Troutdude had brought a sack-full of those delights with him, compliments of his dearly beloved. She always individually wraps each one then secures the cellophane with a silver tie-wrap.

We snacked happily as the work on our girl proceeded as was necessary. Sometime during all of that, though, some anonymous donor added some bling to our girl without calling attention to this noble deed. I have a pretty good idea who that might have been, but… I decided not to say anything right away, so as to add a hint of sincerity to my claim of gratitude…

Our girl’s newest bling addition appears to be holding up well…

Jerry and I did have a good ride zigzagging around over many states dodging rain… He seems to tolerate this enigmatic wanderer rather well for some reason, so we continue to make rides together now and then… Eventually duty compelled him to return homeward, however, with the precise timing being more or less dictated by the weather forecast… Yours truly, on the other hand, had no such reason not to continue with a completely unscripted jaunt around the far cooler and generally much drier climate of the northwest… no thought of riding over near the coast, however…

Following our farewells at the gas station in Rawlins, WY, Jerry headed east in haste to avoid imminent rain… and we just got a room and hunkered down. We did get a little moisture, but mostly we got wind! It can really blow out yonder, and I was mighty glad to not be out riding in that!

A blowjob to remember…

View from the Airbnb I rented in Butte, MT… I had to face sights like these each time I went out on the patio…

OK, enough of Butte, I decided to wander over into Idaho…

One of those “I’ll take yours, if you’ll take mine” deals in Smiley, ID… Two riders from Oregon passed some time admiring ALI…

It just kept getting better the further we traveled…

View from the restaurant porch at the motel where we just happened to stay in Challis, ID…

Each time I start to think of returning towards my land-lady’s place… something comes up and we don’t. I’d figured on making InZane this time, but… ain’t gonna happen. Frankly, I’m just having way too good of a time out here all by my lonesome wandering around here and there… doing what we do ‘on our schedule’… No big epiphanies, breakthroughs, or revelations… just lots of easy riding through some absolutely stunning scenery! Heck, I think I just might do this some more…

Bruce that is some beautiful country you're traveling through.
The temps here in Fl. ought to drop into the low 80's sometime in late October. That will be a good time to return. In the mean time enjoy and safe travels.

So glad you got that smartphone so we can see some of the sights that you see on your wanderings.  I can attest to the wind in Wyoming being ferocious.  We were in Rock Springs last year in September staying at the horse arena and during the night it was so bad that it ripped both ends of our slide topper on the RV.  We rolled the slides in to keep them from being ripped off completely.
