Still watch John Wayne movies today on You Tube... they're the best. No comment on the other stuff with him, there's just never been an actor that commanded the presence on screen or fit the western genre like him.
Is than Dan Blocker/Hoss dressed up as a Native?
Dean Martin was the absolute King of Cool... without question. Beautiful singer.

At an Inzane many years ago we had a member  (handle was Paris)

He came to an Inzane that I want to say was in Johnson City.  Anyway he was on fire with the raffle and easily won like a dozen things.  It was funny after a while as he kept getting up and walking to Willow for his little prize.

After he returned home he had a few contests in the old chat room, name this or that car and I won one of them. It was  a autographed John Wayne picture.

To this day, on a wall in my office hangs that John Wayne picture. I put it in a nice frame  Thanks Paris wherever you are.

Loved the Duke  He was far from perfect but in the end more good than not in my book.

Interesting how whether black, white or oriental my clients love seeing that picture, almost as must as
the poster pic of Clay knocking out Liston in fight 2

Sorta bit choked up there listening to that rendition. Think that will ever happen again-hollywood types singing GOD bless America out loud on stage together? RIDE SAFE.
