Thinking of putting HD bags on my Valk.  I have a HD tour pack and need to have the side opening hinges.  I have a Shadow T that has the same bags as the T and IS Valks and love the lines, but the HD bags are available, in good shape and "cost efficient".

Anyone done this?

Thanks

Will the Valk need to be given any anti-rejection medicine ?

Should yer Fat Lady develop oil leaks I would suggest using explosive bolts such as are found in some Emergency systems that can be found on combat aircraft. Why the explosive bolts you ask? Call it pre prepared should emergency jettison is needed case it starts soundin actin and performin like a h/d.  Roll Eyes                                             RIDE SAFE.

My understanding is that you have to mix benedryl with loctite on the bolts in situations like this.  Keeps the allergic reaction away and hopefully overcomes the tendency of HD parts to fall off.

Expect your Valk to be noticeably slower and you may feel almost uncontrollable urges to gut the mufflers or cut them off at any time.
