In this article there are a couple links to more detailed info. one specifically from “Wired”

https://www.theblaze.com/news/groundbreaking-study-makes-case-for-students-returning-to-school-shows-kids-rarely-spread-covid

“ In fact, the study found that schools do not become virus hotspots once they reopen. According to the study, "the dynamics of virus spreading have been overestimated," CNBC reported.

Prof. Reinhard Berner, the head of pediatric medicine at Dresden University Hospital and a leader of the study, said the study proves "the opposite" of the claim that schools could be super-spreaders of the virus.

"Children act more as a brake on infection," Berner said. "Not every infection that reaches them is passed on."

Researchers in Iceland and Europe have similarly concluded that children do not easily transmit COVID-19.”

my one kid in college will be his 2nd year is hoping in the fall the UW college opens back up for all.  If not,  he may not go back to college until whatever semester it opens back up for students on campus.  The last few months in his 2nd semester recently he had a horrible time learning calculus without ON HANDS talking to the professor and ended up with bad grades in that class.  NO sense in paying 8K a semester for not much learning doing that virtual BS crapola.  Some classes you can get away with that while most cannot.

Is a tough call for sure to keep close or reopen.   Madison WI all high schools already announced they are NOT opening up all their high schools and will decide each quarter whether to reopen or not having to learn ONLINE virtual classes.

Like many the school I work for has pushed back opening day 2 weeks. The school has a lot of boarders. I don't know how they will be able to fly back to the USA and then quarantine for 2 weeks.

Some counties in metro Atlanta are going full virtual for the first semester.

MSM isn't about to report what is going on in Europe. After-all it goes against all their anti- Trump agenda. Truth be cursed.

From what I see /read the 22 countries in Europe that have opened have not shown any surge in the virus and are not using masks.
There are more than 22 countries, but, I don't know which others are staying closed.
Maybe I need to change which news channels I watch.  Smiley

Maybe this virus will carry on like the one of WW1.

The media is jumping on Trump now because he brought it up and mentioned it started in 1917. Of course they insist he has lied once again and that it started in 1918. Who cares and who knows. There are reports it actually started in 1917 or 1916.
