Got back yesterday from our trip to Inzane. Spent a couple of days with Twila's relatives in Luttrell TN before heading home.

A big shout-out to the staff of the VRCC for a job well done considering the challenging circumstances of this years event.  The circumstances in Asheville made things very difficult.

Twila and I where in the vendors area selling books all week ( we did go for one ride up to Mount Mitchell on wed). We sold 27 books. Was hoping to sell more but with the limited attendance of this years event I can't complain. As a result of some sales before we left for Inzane we collected $216 for the Inzane Charity. We were unable to attend the banquet on Thursday night to give the money to the charity so I will send them a check for that amount and more in the name of the VRCC. Since the sales were so low at the rally I have decided to give the profits of the books sold to VRCC members by mail order as well. The price of the book is the same as it was at Inzane $13 plus approx $4 shipping for the continental United States. I'm not sure of the cost of shipping to Canada or abroad. I can find out when I input that into my shipping program.

With that said I need every one that has not bought a book but still wishes to, to PM me their Name,Address and Phone number as well as their handle so I know who's who. Thanks All.

Forgot to mention. To pay me you can send me a check (I will give my address in a return message to you) or I can do PayPal. Sorry cant do Cards.

Well I made a USPS profile to do a "click and ship" thinking it would make it easier to print shipping labels, pay for b it and drop them in the mailbox, but they don't have what the local post called "media mail" on the site. 'Media mail" would have made the shipping cost reasonable but with the click and ship it would be minimum 8 bucks to ship each 11 once book.

So now I have to address each book manually. The post office is going to be so happy when I bring in a dozen or more packages for them to ship and make lables for. Oh well. The first batch should go out tomorrow or the next day..

USPS has envelopes but they are almost 2 bucks. I bought a bunch at Sam's Club for less then 35 cents each.

Also anyone who sends money by PayPal make sure you send it as a "friend" otherwise I have to pay a fee out of it. Thanks...

I sent it as buying books....because I bought something. Feel free to raise the price enough to cover the fees (3% I believe) which would be about 50¢.

Wouldn't the flat rate boxes the U S P S has be a decent shipping deal? RIDE SAFE.

Good, but not the best.  Flat rate boxes go up from $7 - $8.

OK. The first batch of books went out this morning by USPS. Shipping was reasonable and was covered by the shipping cost of $4 I set.

For those of you that ordered books and sent payment by PayPal or sent a check are in the first batch. Watch your mail in the next week for your copy. This USPS is very slow lately but if you don't get them in a week or so get ahold of me. I have the tracking numbers so we could track them.  I still have a lot of books left so if you want one contact me.

Also keep in mind that the profits from any sales to VRCC members will go to the ABCCM Veterans Restoration Quarters charity from Inzane.
