Not knowing anything about them, I'd have to ask why you wouldn't use them? Who makes them and do they recommend a special pad kit?

You mean these? Mine are Brakeking brand but they look exactly like those. Got about 40,000 miles on them and they still look new.

Does any MFG still make after-market wheels for the Valk ? I've saw several Valkyries over the years with front after-market rotor's ( EBC ) and they had rust on them . Do the ones on your bike rust up as well ?

"Braking" stuff is about as reasonable as it gets. Atleast they can be found after the sale of their product! I purchased some of these China rotors a while back to test em since I'm the test dummy! The rear was warped out the bubble wrap!! The fronts started surging so bad I couldn't stand it! To stop a package of mass in motion like the Valkyrie I want something that looks solid, not blingy!!! I thought that maybe they were made for the hi $$ sellers, (Braking, EBC, Brembo, ETC) so were of the same quality! Nope they are just cheaply made copy's of those that did all the R&D. They can't be sued when ya can't find em!!!

Do the ones on your bike rust up as well ? I think there is still someone out there making wheels for valks, I saw a post just the other day, I'll dig around. Mine are RC and they quit making them long ago. These were made for OZ, they are one off models made just for him, then he changed his mind, so I scooped them up. I don't have any rust forming on the disc, but the darn OEM bolts do rust, as you can see in the second pic.

Really nice bike Jeff. The wheels set it off. I've looked around also for someone that makes aftermarket wheels and havent had any luck either. Let us know if you hear of anyone.

At a msrp of $300. each for those Braking rotors they ought to be a super rotor. They sure look good. The made in China rotors do match somewhat but the cutouts look to leave quite a bit less metal around the perimeter when compared to the Braking rotors.

Hmmm, shipped directly from Wuxi, Jiangsu Prov., China. Sounds legitimate to me, don't be such a pussy. You don't really think the OEM rotors are not now sourced from China? The Ohio factory is closed and nowadays even the Japanese are feeding their workers' jobs to the Chinese.

It's likely that the originals are made in China. That's how business goes there. As soon as the plant opens making parts for an American, Japanese or you name it company, the technology transfer has been made. Shorly therafter some Chinese entreprenuer will go into business making a knockoff which looks a lot like the brand name product. In the pursuit of competitive pricing the developed nations are handing China the knife they will use to cut our throats. Caveat Emptor
