am sure there are a few out there locally either craigslist or have seen recently facebook/marketplace is gaining more popularity for postings.

I guess a good mid-sized zip splat crotch rocket if into that kind of riding?

Maybe convince him to get an older fast cruiser, much cheaper on insurance that I know.  My kid has an older fjr1300 and is triple in insurance price of any of my other cycles.

First bike.... 2006 CBR 600rr  cooldude

They are dogs until 6-7K RPM's... then the fun begins

1st gear at 13,000 RPMs = 55MPH
2nd gear at 13,000 RPMS = 110MPH

After that it gets ignorant.

exactly,  that is why my kid age 19 is thinking of selling his low mileage fjr1300 cannot unlock the full potential of all the gears no need to.  I took it for a spin and in 2nd gear over 65 mph why need over 3rd gear?   He recently bought that old 82 honda cm450c 600 bucks which not too shabby 9500 redline not too shabby for a 2 banger 37hp puddle jumper commuter bike and if he wrecks it or dings it up, who cares.
