If Biden is elected in November, Americans in the suburbs can kiss their peaceful communities goodbye. Citizens who moved out of the cities hoping to escape violence would be under a Biden administration more likely to be trapped in the same circumstances they fled.

There’s a reason the Democrats and mainstream media continue to avoid this issue. If suburban voters begin to understand what Biden’s AFFH rule would mean for their communities, many would flock to Trump, irrespective of what they think of his tweeting habits. Americans want to live in safe neighborhoods, where their children can go outside and play. If Trump can campaign effectively on this issue, his chances for reelection will improve dramatically.

In 2015, President Barack Obama’s Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) issued a regulation known as Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing (AFFH). The administration claimed it issued the rule to combat “housing segregation” in suburbs, despite the Fair Housing Act of 1968 already outlawing discriminatory housing practices.

According to the New York Post, had the regulation been successfully implemented nationwide, localities across the country would have had to “scrap zoning, build bigger water and sewer lines to support high-density living, expand schools and social services and add mass transit. All pushing up local taxes.” In essence, virtually all control regarding local governance would be outsourced to the federal government.
Biden Wants to Centralize Power

Not only has Biden agreed to implement AFFH if elected, but he has also promised to go much further. Originally, the AFFH rule used HUD grants as a persuasion tactic to bring suburban communities into compliance, while local communities could still make decisions about whether to pursue these grants or retain local zoning control.

Here we go again.  50 years ago the left used school busing to force racial integration in large cities.  The result was a disaster.  Many families who could afford it moved to distant suburbs where their kids could attend local schools, decimating inner city neighborhoods.  Now they want to build on their failed social engineering experiment and ruin the suburbs.

' Failed experiments '

They don't know any different. Apparently they think eventually all the wrongs will make one right.

They think by injecting low cost subsidized housing into nicer neighborhoods the recipients of that form of welfare will magically be transformed somehow into different people. Will they ever understand that people make choices and choices have consequences. The government doesn’t hold people down and it’s not the governments job to lift us up.

It’s the governments job to regulate and nurture the economy make laws that are enforced to insure education and jobs are available to all.  It’s up to each individual to make the best of the opportunity afforded them.

I am sick and tired of people that choose to be uneducated and refuse to work get a free ride on the tax payers dime.

I'm not sure about this whole AFFH thing, but I find it ironic that so many Trump supporters are so quick to slam MSM whenever something negative about Trump or the Republican Party surfaces, and call so many headlines as fake news, yet this is based on / derived from an article from The Federalist !

To say this source is bias is a total understatement. As I did my research on this I found that  The Federalist has published numerous article that contained false information about the Coronovirus as well as many articles taking positions contrary to our Health Professionals. And Sean Davis, who I believe is a co-founder, has made several totally wild negative statements about the Dems, without anything to back them up. There has also been some serious racists issues with The Federalists comments section which was eventually removed after it was brought into the light.

Bottom line, The Federalist is recognized as a hard line right-wing media outlet online.
