I've been a Valk owner for about a month. The more I ride, the more I love this bike. I've had a range of bikes before her, and still have my VT1100T that I will never part with. After a while, you get to know the sounds, the feel, the rhythm of the bike. BUT, I'd sure like to meet up with some other owners that know these beauties and get some feed back, advice, stories, etc.
From reading here, it seems there are enough of us "new riders" in western wa to warrant some of the more experienced "old riders" being treated to lunch somewhere and being interrogated, listening to our girls, inspecting them and educating the rest of us.
I'm 70 and retired so my schedule is pretty open (grand kids intervene at times). Willing to arrange something if we get some experienced "volunteers" to meet with the recruits.
If nothing else, good excuse for a ride. Suggestions as to where and when are welcome.
