A great big shout out to Tim Salter and his family for the great meal, a 200 lb. pig, they prepared for the Michigan Chapter.  Thanks also to Skinhead for organizing and inviting us.  Justin and I had a grand time, ate so much pork, can probably do without for a little while (but not too long).  Saw a lot of old friends and met some new ones.  It was fun camping at Pleasant Lake, although every time I camp, I am reminded how hard the ground is.

Joe,

A really nice gathering that evolved, twisted and turned, changed in complexion, and ended up being an unexpected delight on the scale that it did! Tim Salter and his family-crew were a big surprise that popped out of nowhere at the Yooper Ride and made a huge difference in the whole affair.

The entire cast of good folks who comprise your area group were all friendly to this 'outsider', and I was mighty glad Mitch brought me along... The food was really good and abundant, the weather was most accommodating, the venue was quite nice, but the chemistry and warm feelings of brother-sisterhood by all who came made that a truly special outing.

You and your helpers did a very good job with this whole event. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see you 'leaned upon' to do all of this again!

Thanks Bruce, it was an unexpected delight to have both Mitch and yourself join us.  You guys were part of the magic of that day.  I can't thank Tim and crew enough for their generosity and hard work.
