On a ride yesterday I stopped to make a phone call and barely brushed the kill switch when it quit. I might normally kill it with the kickstand, kill switch, or key, depending upon the circumstance. (They all do the same thing, removing power to the ignition, and each could be equally likely to fail after a bazillion cycles, so I have no preference. See this MC Garage video on the UToobs

As I was distracted with the phone I didn't give it much thought until it wouldn't start. Checked the kickstand, the kill switch and the key, a little befuddled. After a couple of clicks of the kill switch it worked again.
The it happened again when I stopped for a photo op. Kill switch for sure this time. I'd just washed it a few days ago, so maybe water in the switch? I'll hit it with LPS-1 to see if that helps.
Still under the extended warranty, so not too worried, but a little annoyed. Now I'll have that little bit of unease every time I ride...
Has anyone dissected theirs to see if there's water or corrosion? And has anyone had success with WD-40?
