Palomar Mt. ride, hot day on the road but it was fantastic on top of the mountain (the observatory was closed :/  ), cooler, quiet.. smelled like pine.. such a beautiful area  cooldude
I can't believe how peaceful and quiet it is on top of the mountain, even just stopping for a short time was a gift..

Kinda screwed up the pics at the top, but you get the idea,  Grin

I need to get up to central and Northern Cal, some of the best riding roads int the country up there. Only problem is my girl doesn't like to go for long rides or bike trips, so I'll have to be solo.. or maybe put the bike on my truck.

If/when you make Northern California be sure to do 299!!!

One of the best roads I’ve EVER RIDDEN (reding to the coast)

I will for sure, read about it at pashnit dot com, next year a buddy is coming out from Kentucky with his Road Glide, we're gonna cruise North and have a blast.
