New install. Seem to remember a few folks didnt use a canister at all and all was good. Can anyone advise if needed or not????? I run a pingle so I will be using all 6 intakes for vacuum supply.

Thanks in advance for recommendations.

Don't know yet. Wait for other replies. You want to use those one way valves on each vacuum line, to stop bleed back (or ?).

I made mine with only 2 lines, one from each side if I remember correctly, but haven't got it running yet.

I made a vacuum can from a piece of 1 1/2" pvc pipe maybe 8'' long. run vacuum off three cyl. with check valves on each, works really well.

I also made a canister of PVC and only run two lines to it....one from each side. Works fine with two, you don't need all those lines for vacuum. At one point I also had all going to the canister and developed vacuum leaks down the road. I reduced it to two and still works great.

I’m also looking to add one to my interstate. Few extra questions, do you need the checkvalves on the vacuum lines, has any mounted the the main unit up in the fairing? Think there’s a lot more room up there. Thanks

I seem to only have a picture of the canister, not in the fairing.

But that is exactly where I placed mine, upon recommendations from other's posts.

Re. the canister, I used brass fittings in mine rather than the plastic. Not prone to breakage or cracking due to heat and age.
