Your Valkyries? Got this in an email today. Not very gun savvy these days.

My Valk has been armed continuously for 15 years or so.

When I switch bikes, I also switch gear, including the youknowwhat.

I may or may not carry too, but the bike is always armed.

The .224 Valkyrie is a nice ballistic enhancement of standard 5.56 NATO, but I never do wildcat cartridges (or firearms shooting them) of any kind.  It's hard enough to keep in good supply of standard calibers.

They seem to come and go, and many go the way of the dodo bird (like the Beta max video), although the 6.5 Grendel or Creedmore really seems to be around for good (with the right barrel length and bullet combination, 6.5 Grendel is capable of supersonic flight past 1,200 yards).

All this time I thought our Valks were 'faster than a speeding bullet'.

Link doesn't go anywhere.

It was just a picture capture from my email. The sender was Brownell’s (spelling?) which is a gun vendor that I believe I picked up from this site some time back. I just thought it was a catchy name.

OSS has a stripped down BMW police bike that still has the rifle holster up front.

My  Valkyrie may not be armed, but home sure is.  I’m only 12 miles above the top of NYC and Varren Vilhelm, Jr. is blabbering again about redistribution and BLM is yelling at people to give up their homes.

it also has the shotgun scabbard attached

If I move it to the back it would make a dandy flag holder

This is a  simple wildcat. Take the 6.5 neck it down to 6mm blow the should up to a short neck in one step and go shoot. A 107 gr. bullet going at 2950 or a 87 gr. at 3250. Flat shooter.

I don't want to start something here or argue with anyone. But for the caliber size, I like my .220 Swift and 22-250. There are good for 500 yd. Beyond that I like something bigger [in .30 range].
