maybe u should read the article. still says he never said those things.  amazing that u are harping on an event from two yrs ago.   why are u not harping on the destructive policies the B/S team want to implement on this country? do u like the freedoms u have?  you are just like atheists who focus and harp on the 10-20% of the Bible that can make one doubt God is Real but Ignore the 80-90% of the bible that prove God is real and exist and His Word is Alive.

So....  I said that the Associated Press and Fox news had corroborated the article.  98valk and Robert replied (respectively) with a rant about athiests and that Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton are related and from royal ancestry.

Quite honestly I did not even read your post, I only posted my post about Hillary and Trump out of a curious article I found that leads into some other information, none of which you would understand or even want to. I also was not about to create another post for this.

At this point I gave my response, to me it covers this kind of garbage and was along the line that lawyers, congress, and three letter agencies lied and committed treason and you want me to believe one article, I even provided Pelosi herself talking about the smear that would cover this kind of spurious destructive unverified reporting.

You have no answer for my post, and your idea of things is way off track and its been proven that anything I say you respond with its out there or you don't understand.

So I just have not responded to you personally, sorry you took it as I did.

I think its called beating a dead horse.

But I do want to thank you since by dealing with you and others with contrary opinions I have learned a few things and have switched about 50 people over to Trump and they have become woke to the garbage that is going on. So while I may not be able to fully relate to you it seems I have no problem relating to others that want to keep America Great.

One was a banker that has many liberal friends and he was afraid to talk about Trump to them. Now he has become bold enough to get them to not only back down but actually think he may have something right.

Also present during the event was Trump’s former deputy White House press secretary, Hogan Gidley, who called the allegations “disgusting, grotesque, reprehensible lies.”

“I was there in Paris and the President never said those things,” Gidley said. “In fact, he would never even think such vile thoughts because I know from firsthand knowledge that President Trump absolutely loves, respects, and reveres the brave men and women of the United States military. He always has and always will. These weak, pathetic, cowardly background ‘sources’ do not have the courage or decency to put their names to these false accusations because they know how completely ludicrous they are. It’s sickening that they would hide in the shadows to knowingly try and hurt the morale of our great military simply for an attack on a political opponent.”

Marine 1 was also unable to fly due to weather. Low ceilings/fog. They made the decision, not Trump. He wanted to go but they wouldn't let them drive either. That is, from the news sources I use.

So, of those here that may have "losers and suckers" (his words, not mine) in their families, do you still support this administration?

BTW, Fox has re-confirmed the validity of the report. He did it, and it's everywhere.

Was that before or after he called Melania at home to complain how he REALLY wanted to go, but.....

But wait, she was there with him. He could have just told her, but he had to call her 'at home'....

To drive it would have been over 4 hours to get there. It would have been a security and logistical nightmare, bad for local transportation and have The President too far out from Air Force 1.

Of all people who publicly spoke on the topic, who were actually in the room, John Bolton who has clearly stated none of those words were ever spoken and he has a bone to pick with President Trump. So,if there was ever an opportunity to screw The President, Bolton has passed on that.

The distance between the cemeteries was 61 miles of slow secondary roads.

Its still amazing some of the STUFF people come up with.

Trump has said some unflattering things about the Vietnam war  and those that were there. That was some time ago, but, still said.

I'm curious, haven't been watching any news this weekend.   Has any source been identified?
And, if so, does that source have a checkered Democrat history?
I might believe it if, enough reliable sources stand up and say it but, considering the sources mentioned here, I think not.

Wow seems some have gotten all patriotic for a change. I wonder where they were when Michelle Obama said "All this for a damn flag" at 9/11 ceremonies or

Evidently, Michelle had met with this woman who is a top manager with a large company with military contracts, several years ago when BHO was first elected. At the meeting Mrs Obama sat as everyone stood for prayer and sat for the first 2 or 3 lines of the pledge. This marine gave Mrs Obama a whack to the foot and shamed her into standing up for the Pledge of Allegiance.

At least these had some facts behind them.

Wow this really sounds like a man that would dishonor vets.

Making America Great Again
Veterans
President Donald J. Trump Achievements

    Share
    Facebook
    Twitter

FULFILLING OUR COMMITMENT TO OUR COUNTRY’S VETERANS:
President Trump is making sure the government fulfills its commitment to our country’s Veterans.

President Trump signed the Veterans Accountability and Whistleblower Protection Act to allow senior officials in the Department of Veterans Affairs (V.A.) to fire failing employees and establish safeguards to protect whistleblowers.

Through 2018, more than 4,300 Veterans Affairs employees were removed, demoted, or suspended as a result of the Veterans Accountability and Whistleblower Protection Act

In August 2017, after passing Congress unanimously, President Trump signed the Veterans Appeals Improvement and Modernization Act.

This streamlined the lengthy process that veterans undergo when appealing disability benefits claims with the Veterans Affairs.

In August 2017, the President signed the Harry W. Colmery Veterans Educational Assistance Act, an important step in providing our nation’s heroes the support they have earned.

This funded the post-9/11 GI Bill, which provided educational benefits to veterans, service members, and their family members, including tuition, fees, books, housing, and additional costs.

The President signed the V.A. Choice and Quality Employment Act of 2017 to authorize $2.1 billion in additional funds for the Veterans Choice Program (VCP).

President Trump signed a bill to allow the V.A. to fire incompetent employees.
President Trump signed legislation to fully fund the popular V.A. Choice Program.

In August 2017, The President signed the V.A. Choice and Quality Employment Act of 2017 which authorized $2.1 billion in additional funds for the Veterans Choice Program (VCP).

In November 2017, the Trump Administration created a new White House V.A. Hotline, staffed by veterans and family members, who will provide our nation’s Veterans with a direct, dedicated contact line to answer their needs and concerns.

Since May 2019, the White House VA Hotline has surpassed 250,00 calls.

In April 2017, the VA launched its online “Access and Quality Tool” which provides veterans with data to help them make informed decisions about their health care.

In June 2018, President Trump signed The VA MISSION Act, which works to integrate the VA healthcare system and modernize it for the 21st century while providing Veterans with more choices in their healthcare options, whether from VA doctors or the community.

In 2018, the VA announced three initiatives to expand access to healthcare for veterans using telehealth technology:

“Anywhere to Anywhere Veterans Affairs Health Care” allows Veterans Affairs providers to use telehealth technology to serve veterans no matter where the provider or veteran is located.
V.A. Video Connect allows veterans and providers to connect by video across the country.
The Veteran Appointment Request (VAR) application allows veterans to schedule appointments at Veterans Affairs facilities on digital devices.

In April 2019, the VA Announced a major expansion of its telehealth offerings in order to provide veterans living in rural or remote areas with the best possible care.

The VA Telehealth initiative will involve partnerships with private sector companies including Walmart, T-Mobile, and Phillips.

Veterans Win with Trump Administration's MISSION Act Reforms
https://www.military.com/daily-news/2019/07/30/veterans-win-trump-administrations-mission-act-reforms.html

But thanks to thousands of dedicated VA workers around the country and President Donald J. Trump's support for this historic reform, elements of the MISSION Act took effect on June 6, and veterans immediately began benefitting from the largest transformation in veterans' health care since the end of World War II.

This achievement was met mostly by silence in the media -- which is as close as the press ever gets to saying, "good job." But because this revolution is likely to affect the health care decisions of millions of veterans for years to come, it's worth explaining how the MISSION Act has changed the lives of America's heroes for the better.

Ok so it was just being discussed again on Judge Jeanie w/ FOX.

While the Secret Service handles security for The President, it would have been local police to do the majority of the security.

There were no contingency plans in place for POTUS to drive to the cemetery, nothing preplanned, so a security nightmare to deal with in regards to POTUS safety.

Sorry you don’t put The President in a car and go for an unscheduled, unplanned, unreconned route through the countryside for 2 hours in a foreign country on a rainy day with no air support or immediate emergency air rescue available.

Sorry Mike but, those are all Sorry Arse Excuses if you suffer from TDS.

Face it, any anti-Trump rumor is sufficient to condemn.   They don't even need a reliable source.
(And this is coming from someone who doesn't really like President Trump.)   Roll Eyes

Here's a few exact quotes from President Trump, not distorted by MSM, or anyone else. Just pure Trump

Campaign finance: "I think nobody knows more about campaign finance than I do, because I'm the biggest contributor." (1999.)

TV ratings: "I know more about people who get ratings than anyone." (October 2012.)

ISIS: "I know more about ISIS than the generals do." (November 2015.)

Social media: "I understand social media. I understand the power of Twitter. I understand the power of Facebook maybe better than almost anybody, based on my results, right?" (November 2015.)

Courts: "I know more about courts than any human being on Earth." (November 2015.)

Lawsuits: "[W]ho knows more about lawsuits than I do? I'm the king." (January 2016.)

Politicians: "I understand politicians better than anybody."
The visa system: "[N]obody knows the system better than me. I know the H1B. I know the H2B. ... Nobody else on this dais knows how to change it like I do, believe me." (March 2016.)

Trade: "Nobody knows more about trade than me." (March 2016.)

The U.S. government system: "[N]obody knows the system better than I do." (April 2016.)

Renewable energy: "I know more about renewables than any human being on Earth." (April 2016.)

Taxes: "I think nobody knows more about taxes than I do, maybe in the history of the world." (May 2016.)

Debt: "I’m the king of debt. I’m great with debt. Nobody knows debt better than me." (June 2016.)

Money: "I understand money better than anybody." (June 2016.)

Infrastructure: "[L]ook, as a builder, nobody in the history of this country has ever known so much about infrastructure as Donald Trump." (July 2016.)

Sen. Cory Booker: "I know more about Cory than he knows about himself." (July 2016.)

Borders: Trump said in 2016 that Sheriff Joe Arpaio said he was endorsing him for president because "you know more about this stuff than anybody."
Democrats: "I think I know more about the other side than almost anybody." (November 2016.)

Construction: "[N]obody knows more about construction than I do." (May 2018.)

The economy: "I think I know about it better than [the Federal Reserve]." (October 2018.)

Technology: "Technology — nobody knows more about technology than me." (December 2018.)

Drones: "I know more about drones than anybody. I know about every form of safety that you can have." (January 2019.)

Drone technology: "Having a drone fly overhead — and I think nobody knows much more about technology, this type of technology certainly, than I do." (January 2019.)

Certainly not everything he has done has been bad. There are a few things I think he may have gotten right, however, as a person, I have not respect for him.

And I certainly agree with previous comments that sort of lend themselves to the idea that if he wasn't the president, most folks wouldn't want to be around him. Yes, there are exceptions because he is rich, but there is a long long line of folks that have spoken up about his character and that concerns me.

Perhaps it is worth considering :

Narcissistic personality disorder — one of several types of personality disorders — is a mental condition in which people have an inflated sense of their own importance, a deep need for excessive attention and admiration, troubled relationships, and a lack of empathy for others. But behind this mask of extreme confidence lies a fragile self-esteem that's vulnerable to the slightest criticism.

A narcissistic personality disorder causes problems in many areas of life, such as relationships, work, school or financial affairs. People with narcissistic personality disorder may be generally unhappy and disappointed when they're not given the special favors or admiration they believe they deserve. They may find their relationships unfulfilling, and others may not enjoy being around them.

I think this fits DJT pretty damn good !

If I really felt like it I could pick this apart piece by piece, but it’s not worth my time and effort.

BUT here’s a couple examples.

Regarding:

Construction: he could probably give you a cost analysis of a 20 story apartment complex for 1000 residents in any given zip code. He knows the cost of labor, lumber, concrete, electrical, waste, and anything else related to a given construction job and the contract as well as any mortgage rates and return.

The economy: The FED just announced yesterday Trumps been right and they were wrong.

https://www.foxbusiness.com/politics/fed-trump-right-all-along

Debt: One of the most basic rules in real estate, especially the speculation real estate market. Invest other people’s money. Use the debt to your advantage. Loans can always be renegotiated.

Cory Booker: Take it from a resident of N.J. .... Booker is a nothing but a negative for this state and a racially biased individual. He stunk as mayor of Newark.

Money and debt kind of go hand in hand. If will say this he has the best attorneys and accountants money can buy.

So there ya go...all that in about 7 minutes.

Thanks for playing.

LOL!  You meant to say "we don't".  Some of the folks to whom you were speaking would in a heartbeat.   Wink

Can you imagine the rioting in the streets if the subject of this film had been our 44th president instead of our 43rd?

Trump came to Dover after my wife was killed fighting ISIS. He absolutely respects our service.
I'd never met a president before Donald Trump. His empathy and thoughtfulness on one of the worst days of my life won my gratitude.

Yup. You’re right and I’m sure he served a purpose. Being the “best”at something doesn’t especially make you the most scrupulous person in the world. Those don’t always go hand in hand, after all he is an attorney.....no offense Oss or any one else on this board. I’m sure your scruples are just fine.

I cannot think of a better reason to reelect Trump than this article, it looks like if Trump wins they are planning an all out battle and will not allow the true democratic processes to work. This is third world country crap and even talk of dividing California. Baldo guess who is at the top of the list in donors to the chaos and radical divide GEORGE SOROS.

"Bipartisan" Washington Insiders Reveal Their Plan For Chaos If Trump Wins The Election

A group of “bipartisan” neoconservative Republicans and establishment Democrats have been “simulating” multiple catastrophic scenarios for the 2020 election, including a simulation where a clear victory by the incumbent provokes “unprecedented” measures, which the Biden campaign could take to foil a new Trump inauguration.

I think this is going to drag out, and eventually I do believe he will win if we don’t give an inch, and if we are as focused and relentless as the other side is,” Clinton continued during an interview with Showtime a little over a week ago. The results of the TIP’s simulations notably echo Clinton’s claims that Biden will “eventually” win if the process to determine the election outcome is “dragged out.”

It was co-founded by Rosa Brooks and Nils Gilman and its current director is Zoe Hudson. Brooks, as previously mentioned, was an advisor to the Pentagon and the Hillary Clinton-led State Department during the Obama administration. She was also previously the general counsel to the President of the Open Society Institute, part of the Open Society Foundations (OSF), a controversial organization funded by billionaire George Soros. Zoe Hudson, who is TIP’s director, is also a former top figure at OSF, serving as senior policy analyst and liaison between the foundations and the U.S. government for 11 years.

OSF ties to the TIP are a red flag for a number of reasons, namely due to the fact that OSF and other Soros-funded organizations played a critical role in fomenting so-called “color revolutions” to overthrow non-aligned governments, particularly during the Obama administration. Examples of OSF’s ties to these manufactured “revolutions” include Ukraine in 2014 and the “Arab Spring,” which began in 2011 and saw several governments in the Middle East and North Africa that were troublesome to Western interests conveniently removed from powe

Corroboration for the Atlantic article is starting to come in.

another anti-USC group, run by another global elitist.

https://www.emersoncollective.com/

Emerson Collective is a social change organization focused on education, immigration reform, the environment, media and journalism, and health. Founded by Laurene Powell Jobs,[2] the LLC uses philanthropy, impact investing, advocacy, and community engagement as tools to spur change in the United States and abroad.[8]

Um ok.  However Fox News and the Associated Press have independently confirmed.

So we are willing to believe anonymous sources in a highly partisan environment that the President said disrespectful things towards our Military and those who sacrificed for us.

Yet we choose to dismiss the actual men and women of our Military who have stories of their ACTUAL relationship to the President. Complete with photos, videos, and heartfelt stories of Honor and Respect by this very President. Thousands of them. Officers and enlisted alike.

It isn't that I don't just dismiss the Atlantic report because I have some kind of blind support for the man. I dismiss it because the evidence to the contrary is overwhelming.
