My new batwing fairing was delivered yesterday. When I installed it last night there was the fairing, mounting brackets and windshield in the box, but nothing to mount the windshield to the fairing. The stainless trim is ordered and should be delivered tomorrow. I hope it will come with hardware to mount it and the windshield. Do any of you know if that is the case, and if not what have you used to mount them? Thanks

Mine came with plastic nuts and bolts to mount the shield. I don't remember where they were packaged though. I would call the dealer you bought it from and have them send you some. Jim

I would call Memphis Shades .... they're pretty good about supplying missing parts.

Hey, good luck with the new fairing. Post a message after you take the bike on the road and let me or us know how she does in the wind. I have a switchblade windshield now and was thinking of switching to the Honda stock windshield because of the favorable reviews on it. That being said, I love the look of the Batwing fairing. Thanks Laddderman

I had everything needed to install. Love the quick disconnect mounting brackets.

What size of windshield did you all get?
I purchased the 7", but need a taller one.

I have the 9" and look over it by about 3". I'm 6'1". The 9" did a pretty good job before I installed the wind deflectors on the bottom of the fairing but the deflectors direct a lot more air over the top and rattle the shield on my full face helmet. I plan on getting a 12" shield. I'm well pleased with the fairing as opposed to my Tourer windshield. My main reason for changing was that I liked the look of the batwing but it gives excellent protection from the cold wind and should be better with a taller windshield. Have'nt tried it in the rain yet.

Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.

You got a pic? Esp of the lowers. I need something under my wing since I get more wind around the tank then I did with the oem shield. Fork deflectors helped. My HD buds said they get alot of wind and rain under there 'wing. They take it in the chest and crotch.

Do'nt have any pictures yet but I have the Memphis shades wind deflectors on the batwing fairing and also have Baker air wings. Had to bend the Bakers back a tad for clearance. That set up gives excellent protection for the legs and body but I do need a taller windshield than my 9".

I'll have to look at there sites. I searched ebay and found alot of taller shields for hd fairings for around $44. Lexan also. The bolt pattern may be the same as your Memphis.
