That's short for 'Balanced By BBs'.  I've used Dyna Beads for years.  At first I thought they sounded like a scam, but they actually work very well.  Then I read a post here about using BBs instead.  They cost far less than the over priced beads and work just as well.  They're also easier to install, recover, and reuse.  And they don't get stuck in the valve core.  I'm now a convert.

On a related subject, I installed a tire on the spare rear rim for my F6B yesterday.  I switched back to Bridgestones, which were the OEM brand, because Avon has raised their prices so high in the new Chromes.  I may be switching on the Valks too.  I was having trouble seating the beads with my small compressor, so I threw it in the truck and took it to the local tire shop for a bigger shot of air.  They had one of those bead seaters that blasts a massive volume of air into the tire in less than a second.  I'd never used one before, but what an awesome tool!

When I pulled the old tire off my front wheel, I collected and weighed the balancing beads and it came out to just under 2oz. I put 2oz of Crossman copper BB's into the new tire and it's been working well.

I plan to pull the tire off this winter and see how the inside of the tire looks since I hadn't heard of anyone else doing this.

BB's

2 oz front

3 oz rear and in a car tire.

No they do not wear out. Can be reused. I take a fresh baggie of BB's with each tire so the tire guy doesn't have to mess with them.

Been using them couple years now. When I'm backing Phatt Ghurl down the drive into her cage I KNOW they are loose and doing what there sposed to do. Using them in cage tires too. I've had people tell me something Is Wrong with my car in parking lots when going slow.  2funny Looked inside M/C tires and the cage tires and the inside lettering still legible after lotsa miles of driving. Centrifugal force holds them in place at what ever speed and they only move as a group at low speed creating the noise you hear. What's that carnival ride? Tilt-a-whirl where you stand with your back to the wall it starts spinning and the floor falls away and then the ride starts up at an angle. Centrifugal force keeps you from falling out. Also should you git sick on that ride you keep it right there with you!  Evil
I also have a tire shop here in Willow Springs that every time I come in he keeps telling me it won't work. The Reason he tells me that I believe is cuz he charges 5 bucks a wheel on the balancing. Shop that does my M/C tire work has installed BBs on his ride and he's liking them. And at the M/C tire shop I'm allowed into shop area and observe the work on my tires. RIDE SAFE.

Tire shops up north used a 20Lb. propane tank, ball valve and a kind of flattened funnel shaped nozzle for seating tires.

Same as Britman, 2 ounces in front, and 2 or 3 in the rear.  That's about the same as they suggest on the Dyna Beads website.  I just fill one of those little shampoo bottles you get at motels with the BBs, then dump them in after getting the first bead over the rim.
