So my bike has been spiting and sputtering at higher rpms when it’s been running at highway speeds for a couple of hours. It almost sounds like it’s starving for fuel but when I stop to get fuel for 10 minutes it’s fine then it does to same thing when ever it gets hot. NEED HELP!!!!!!!

oem petcock diaphragm might need replacement. it starts getting pinholes from wear movement.

or carbs are out of tune and adjustment.

Could it be a heat related electronic issue. I'm new to Valks and (if they have one) a regulator/rectifier would act that way if on its way out.

Sounds like a classic case of the fuel tank vent being pinched. Open the cap with a spare key when it happens and see if that clears it up.

Sounds like it’s starving for fuel. Like mentioned, vacuum line or petcock, vent line or external fuel filter. Gas isn’t flowing fast enough to keep up with fuel demand at higher speeds.

And put your head down there and listen for a sucking noise at opening of rubber seal.

In a pinch, you can close the cap on a zip tie (to add more venting).  But that's a temp fix.

My standard was doing the same thing . OEM petcock was the culprit. Installed a pingle and no problems since.
