I've looked at quite a few messages about beefing up the rear lighting on my 98 Valk Tourer. I'm leaning towards the Radiantz Brake Light LED panel, with the Kuryakyn Triple Whammy (although they don't call it that anymore), Electrical Connection LED Rings and 1156 LEDs. Since these messages I looked at were several years old, I wanted to check with you folks and see if these are still the best option. TIA.

I have the Radiantz panel, have had it for years. I've ridden behind folks
with them and wondered if their brake light was stuck on, but it got even
brighter when they hit the brakes.

LEDs get better every year. I think even old Radiantz panels are sufficient,
don't know how much different (or brighter) new ones might be.

I have the radiant panel and replaced the reflectors with 2 1/2” LED round lights. Search amazon for 2 1/2” LED reflectors. They are both tail and brake lights.

While I am on an I/S I M H O your brake lights Should be Very noticeable Even IF the sun is shining directly onto the brake light assembly. My I/S light assembly was modified by a board member here-BonS-and I'm here to tell ya best money I ever spent on/for an upgrade. My pull behind trailer has an L E D upgrade on tail/brake and marker lights. And EVEN with my L E D lights I've still heard-sorry dude didn't see ya!  uglystupid2 RIDE SAFE.

I agree. All the safety lighting in the world isn't a cure for the cage drivers we have.  So I do the best I can, 'cause I'm not going to let those aholes keep me from riding my bike.

I'm taking it you want to be better seen when stopping, more than just brighter tail lights.

Do you know of the hyperlits?

I’ve seen many sets of Hyperlites installed. The brightest lights on the market. I was going to put them on my wing but now the wing is for sale.

Here's what I have. Great investment and cagers keep a bigger distance now.
Different modes that can be changed with some clicks of the brake handle.

Thanks, I had forgotten them. I had them on another bike and they worked great.

Here is a cheaper alternative that really works great. Takes a few minutes to install, and no wiring.
