At least to me. Mitt Romney has made a public statement that he supports Trump nominating a replacement for RBG and taking a up or down vote whenever it is presented on the floor. I had sort of given up on the idea of any support coming from Romney.

I believe Romney's constituents support him because he's LDS as most are in SLC, and less because he's purportedly R.  Clearly, his record proves he's more a RINO than a Republican. I don't trust him one bit.

Only lunatic lefties would vote against an outstanding (in every way) SCOTUS nominee, as a way to punish President Trump.  Even Romney sees that (and his constituents see it too).

I agree.
He could have come out on the side of the two ladies from Alaska and Maine, more rhinos, and thrown the vote count into a more questionable arena. Sometimes you have to give credit where credit I’d due.
