I get so aggravated when I go on Ebay and ask for a motorcycle cruise control. All they list is a throttle lock which is NOT a cruise control. I have a new set of control switches for the cruise mentioned but don't have the servo itself. If you have or know of one, give me a shout, I want to put one on the trike. All I have now is a throttle lock which are a dime a dozen.

I thought I might be able to help John.  But I checked and if you wanted pretty much anything else that came in the box I have it.  New control switch, wiring harness, instructions, some brackets etc.  Just not what you need.  I thought I had a new complete CCS-100 somewhere but no can find.  If I do I'll let you know.  Good luck, that sure is a pretty trike.

Thanks Terry, it appears the differential has a leak coming from somewhere, I can't spot it. I called the factory for some information on how to approach it, they told me to work on the pumpkin you have to drop the entire rear end...after pulling the axles. There's no sign of oil issues at the point where the driveshaft comes from the motor, none at any of the CV joint boots or where the driveshaft enters the diff., plus no oily residue from the pressure relief breather. That leaves only one place causing the entire undercarriage from the diff. back to be well oiled....the differential itself. Hopefully it's a bad gasket under the cover plate. If that's the source, a gasket isn't too expensive....it's a Mustang II from the early 70's. There's a shop about 160 miles south that does trike conversions, they offered to come pick it up for $200 and call me with the results when they pin it down. I don't have a lift for such an operation so tempted to take them up on it.

I think I would try the gasket.  Gasket and some oil would be a lot less than $200 and the aggravation.

I thought so too until I called the factory about the procedure. Seems you have to drop the entire rear end after pulling the axles out....independent suspension. I'm not set up to do anything like that; jack the rear end up, block the front and maybe bungee the front brake handle...don't want the bike rolling forward, remove the wheels then split the CV joint attachment point on the axle and pull the axles. Next, unbolt the rear axle stabilizers that keep the axle from both twisting and becoming out of square to the frame, then with a jack under the differential you unbolt it from the rest of the undercarriage and lower it.  If done in the garage, all this is done on your back under the bike with limited room to move around. The next morning, you call 911 cuz you can't get out of bed. Grin
