I had the front right turn signal break on me. I screwed around with that and I had to buy a new one which is sold and in stock. Ended up being $46. Figured new was the way to go.  While that was being shipped my left front turn signal stopped working. Opened it up and the plastic on the inside had just broken, old age, heat, speed bumps. I have never touch that signal so it just broke as far as I know. Same as the right front. All I can figure is age just weakens the plastic.

Here comes the fun part. The front left is out of production and good luck finding one. I got one off of Amazon which was said to have shipped today but the company shipping it claims on their web site that they don't have it?  Is this going to actually get here? I really don't know because no one could find me that part and I couldn't either. The left front turn signal doesn't exist except for this one Amazon one? ????

If I had know this I would have gone with some after market turn signals but now I'm in to deep.

The point of this is if you break a turn signal or it breaks for you, go after market. Parts are disappearing new or old new stock.

I kind of want some extra driving lights. Well now I'm in $100 on new turn signals I should have just bought a light bar with lights. $250-$350? Probably would have been the way to go after this is all done. BTW when I took the Allen bolt out of the right side turn signal the Damn thing broke in my hand. I wasn't putting much pressure on it and it shattered. The plastic was just brittle. Be careful fooling around with the turn signals.

Sometimes the shipping paperwork goes through before the actual item is shipped.  Keep an eye on the tracker.

parcelsapp.com.en works pretty much worldwide with shippers

hope your stuff shows up.....

Two different versions of the signals were used on these bikes. One has dual lens-attachment screws, run in from the front ('97-'99). The other - a single screw underneath the housing plus an internal retainer tab - was used on the '00-up models.

Between the various bikes that used either, I'll bet there are ten gad-friggin-zillion of them in circulation. Easy to find spares.

My solution to the heat problem is twofold: First, the '01 I/S (which uses the stock housing arrangements) had all of its signal bulbs converted to LED assemblies. Second, the '99 Tourer had the stock front turn signals removed and a National Cycle light bar installed. Kuryakyn deep-dish Bullets were fitted in place of the largish signals which came with the NC light bar.

The front Bullets are metal, so no heat problems. Their bezels match the rings on both the spotlights and the red lens/bezel assemblies I installed on the rear signal housings (which are from an '00 Tourer). The rears flash momentarily (not "on" constantly as with the fronts) so I really don't expect heat to be an issue with them when running incandescent bulbs. I may convert those signal bulbs to LEDs at some point.

If your Amazon order doesn't work out, you can use the front turn signal assy. for a '99 Valk. They appear to be still available on Partsfish.com, Hondapartshouse.com, etc. You would also have to order the front turn signal stay (item 6 on diagram), p/n  33640-MZ0-003.
