thermostat housing pipe is leaking at 65k miles.
Is this normal??  what can cause this?

I just pulled out the carbs, so I'm thinking all I did was, the carb bank pushed on the housing and/or the tube a little too much since I never saw it leaking before this. It was only dripping briefly last night and this morning there is zero additional leakage.

Thoughts?

The two horizontal metal tubes which are attached to the housing and run back along the motor, or something else?

I had one on my first '83 GL1100A erode about halfway down the length of the tube at probably 90K on the bike. It started a slight drip. Both tubes and all rubber seals were replaced.

ETA:

The seals I mentioned are probably shot. In this case I believe they're actual O rings and not convoluted like the GL1100 parts were.

the two tubes from the heads that go into the back of the housing.  The o-rings are of the triangle wedge variety. I have new ones in my spare parts box.
I think I just hit and move the tube slightly and that was why it was briefly leaking.  The bolt that holds it to the block might be loose, going to check that also.
