While I can take college football or leave it, my wife likes to watch college football. So, I have endeavored to ensure she can do that.
I have used several "cable like" sources, DirectTV, HULU, and now SLING. And, college football is all I use it, them for.
Toady, she wanted to watch an SEC game but that SEC network is not included in the SLING option I have.
So, the question is, if I (read that as "my wife") wants to watch SEC, ACC and ESPN related football games, what is the best and least expensive way to do that using the internet.
Oh, I am using a ROKU device although I could possible use something else but I'd like to keep it simple.
Also I have OTA (over the air) TV as well that I use where possible.

Wish I could help, we pay extra for SEC sports with Comcast. We're huge SEC fans (especially Kentucky Wildcats) so if you and your lovely wife want to come over and watch, come on over. Edited: ACC? Do they play football or basketball? Rams

Thanks Rams,
We shall keep that in mind when we visit Hattiesburg. Which we will do not sure when yet, maybe this year yet, depending on the weather.

I think I have Sling Orange since it listed EPSN as available. Right now I cannot see my subscription on the Sling website for some reason it does show me be active.
I will have to wait until the games are over to reconnect and see what happens. It is one of the issues I had with HULU.
You could not use HULU on the road since it only allowed four address changes before you service was disconnected. So, if you were in a motel on the road and used their internet, HULU would count that as an address change. Had a similar problem when I changed internet service providers a few months back. I had to get really testy with HULU to remove the address change. But then I dumped them.
At least DirectTv did not do that. Used it on the road all the time. I guess I might have to relook at it.

You know, I don't know why I did not think of this but one answer is Youtube.
Just saw a game my wife said she wanted to see, was not available on EPSN or Sling, so I went to YouTube on the computer and did a search, it was there, did the same thing on the ROKU box and its there.
So, for sports then, why would I even want to use anything else? Well, one reason might be the resolution is not HD its probably 480 or 720 at best. But...... Its there and "FREE".

I assume Youtube games are not live, so you just have to avoid the scores in the news beforehand.

Nope, both games were/are live. First one was LSU and Mississippi State, it was live and now its University of SC and Tennessee.
I am sort of amazed that they are live but...... Its all about revenue I guess.

I love college games and Colts games otherwise no sports due to not liking a particular sport and/or doing my own personal protest though Colt games are usually on earlier thus I listen to them on the car radio as I have better things to on Sunday. Loved the OK upset yesterday.

Ah and I did not know that option existed. I went back to Hulu for $12 or so a month for ESPN+ and Disney+. Could not just get ESPN+ (well I guess I could with some more work but for $5 I will test the waters). Anyway, tired to set it up last night and I think since I had Hulu for a while, I have some setup issues. Contacted Hulu support (Chat) and basically wanted me to log into Disney+. I told them I was not going to do that and to fix my ESPN+ subscription. I find most of these internet TV service providers (maybe with the exception of DirectTV which I have not used for three or more years) don't give a hoot about customer service. But.. Maybe I expect too much.

If I remember the answer was yes but not all listed games were available. It would show a game but would say it was blocked. But it was available on YouTube on two different channels.
I don't know much about how well Hulu operates. I had the "deluxe" version before, $60 plus a month. I only got that version so I could watch FoxNews, which I don't watch anymore.
And, at the time I was being fairly juvenile since I did not consider for a moment that FoxNews would be on Youtube.
I like to watch the Chris Salcedo show on Newsmax but sometimes he won't show up on the lineup on Monday but, just go to Youtube and there he is.
Same thing with watching Trump rallies. Use to depend on the news outlets (OAN, Newsmax) but now just turn to YouTube and there it is.
Anyway, so I will try the ESPN+ App again today. See what happens.
