Feels like I posted this before, but I cant find it. Anyhoo, I have adjustable brake levers like the pic on my VFR that I really like. I specifically like the adjust number wheel on it. I can change it in 2 seconds even while going down the road. Looking for one like it for the Valk... -- I thought someone said a GW is like that or any ideas? Thanks!

I seem to recall there were (or used to be) two sources for wheel-adjustable levers for 1800 goldwings that could be adapted for valk. Here is an old post from the Delphi VRF forum on the subject, including cutting a tab off the clutch side lever. Be sure to read the addendum added to this link; when I used them, I ended up with a a sticky brake light situation (just like the poster did), where when I released the brake lever, the brake light stayed on for 3-4 more seconds every time. Had to dick around with the tension bolt to get it just right, not too tight or too lose. The links may no longer work. http://forums.delphiforums.com/valkyrie/messages/?msg=13360.1I had those levers on both my interstates, but over the years broke several of them, they are cast aluminum, and one good hit and they snap into pieces. And I never trusted them at the extremely close reach settings. The (nonadjustable) Kuryakyn wide chrome levers for Valk are far superior to the adjustable levers (and the skinny stock levers too), and have a bit of a shorter reach built into them than stock. And they don't have to be modified. Although with all Kuryakyn chrome parts, sometimes a bit of filing too-fat chrome is necessary. https://www.kuryakyn.com/products/3747/wide-style-levers

Kuryakin sells adjustable levers that fit. I bought just the brake lever from them through a local service shop.

Interested in the Kuryakyn part numbers on this one. I can't find any on their website. Did a check on Partzilla, and apparently, OEM GL1800 has the thumb wheel adjusters.

Hoping to find the OEM standard silver....

Let me look through my old issues of Wing World and see if I can find an OEM silver set on a given bike. As I recall, all 1800 levers are black with the chrome adjustment knobs.

Kury Wides and a VTX1800 clutch MC.
The Kuryakyn adjustable wide levers (currently running a set on my Tourer) required filing, machining and fiddling, and even then I experience a slight amount of drag if the pivot hardware isn't well lubricated.

Unless I find a Honda OEM silver solution, I am thinking to grab the GL1800 black levers. For the moment, I need plug and play.....my bank account for fiddling on this bike is presently empty. I'm having fun at the moment trying to get the front brakes to fully bleed.....

I looked at an online parts listing for the last model year Gold Wing - the 2000 Aspencade. It shows a brushed aluminum finish, non-adjustable lever like our Valkyries use.
Next, I headed to FleaBay and searched for "GL1500 levers". Of course, lots of Valkyrie listings - but those from the 'Wings are as noted above - brushed aluminum and non-adjustable.
May want to check the 'Bay for OEM GL1800 levers. I got my set for under $20, IIRC.

You need to check the part number of each of the fasteners for these levers, I believe they are different.

That's what I did with mine, as indicated above. "Plug and Play". (Jeez, this Valk project is a money pit!)

Show chrome 18-111BC Got this part number from Bob at atticrat performance while I was at his shop.
You have to trim a small piece off the bottom of the clutch lever that is used to disengage the cruise on a gold wing. But you can’t see it when it’s installed
Also while they are off I would order new seals and push rods and the clutch lever bushing

I've never thought of replacing the pushrod. They always seemed fine after cleaning them up. But definitely the rubber boots and the bushings.

Received the new GL1800 levers.....they are about an inch longer than the Valkyries. Not really wild about it, trying to decide whether to use them....

Show chrome 18-111BC I did not like how loose the bushing fit to pivot pin was so I made new bushings for the levers.
