...anyone else tired of 2020 yet??....Turned 50 in February....so guess what I get to do this year...October 12th to be exact...."Ride the Snake" and I'm not talking about the motorcycle road either....They are going to also look down the old pie(cake) hole the same day while I'm already asleep for the Hersey Highway Exploratory Expedition...been taking acid reflux meds for a few years and they work, mostly.....gives them a reason to pad the bill a little..... But believe it or not, THAT was the good news...... ...for you guys and gals who are on FB.....y'all already know what is about to happen to me that is NOT so fun as the above procedure.... Back around Christmas of last year, my right Moob was hurting for about one day..with some blood oozing out of the nipple...."Hmm, that can't be good??!!"..... Dr. sent me to have some ManNograms, and an ultrasound....a small bump just under my right nipple...didn't hurt....they did two or three ultrasounds spaced out until about September.....That Dr. wanted a surgeon to remove it thinking it was most likely an infected duct or possible cyst..it was too close to the surface to biopsy without causing an infection, so he recommended that a surgeon remove it.....ok....met with her(a real beauty with a great bedside manner)...went in on the 16th to do a simple removal of that "bump"...that was on a Wednesday.....on Friday the surgeon called and said the Pathologist had called her saying there WAS some cancer in the sample..... ..surpised HER and ME...she said since they hadn't expected THAT, she wasn't very aggressive and wanted to go back in again.....met with her a few days later and she laid it out.....the options..... a partial mastectomy would require NO drain but would mean 30 Radiation treatments afterwards(5/week for 6 weeks)....OR she could go the whole hog and do a full mastectomy which DOES require a drain line for a while, but with NO radiation treatments.....I still have to take some kind of chemo/hormone treatment once they get it out and look at it closer..... ...but being a Man and we don't have as much as a woman, a full one isn't much different....either one means the NIPPLE is a goner......oh well, I won't win any more wet T-shirt contests... ..... She had me spit in a test tube and send off for testing(my HS Girlfriend told me I had "bad genes, or jeans?" when she broke up with me when we got to college, so maybe she was on to something?)...said the results might sway her decision on the best one to do.....I've already decided to go WHOLE hog just because I don't want to be tied to a lot of radiation treatments(that can cause damage to the lymph nodes in that area).....she will test the Sentinel lymph nodes under my armpit first thing and send it off to be checked to make sure it hasn't spread to those(really hope not)....if it did spread, more lymph nodes come out which is not good in general..... Either way she said a 99% survival rate if I do all the treatment stuff.....so, I believe my Valk and tractor are safe for now(down to my last payment on my Kubota).... I'll be having the surgery on the 21st of this month and will be out of commission for a while...I can't pick up over 10lbs for about 6 weeks after the surgery...going to make going to the bathroom hard now.... ...... I'm a little bummed out about not getting to keep the nipple, but I'd like to be around a while yet to enjoy my tractor and food and stuff.....and the Ladies of course...... I believe my Wife is more worried than me... So.....I guess it's Kosmic Karma for being the BIGGEST Fan of the female breast(s)....so...yeah, I'll be glad when 2020 is OVER......let's hit that "Re-set" button y'all.......

Prayers for you Richmond Ky. Sounds like you got a plan and good folks around you and your care. I lost a little more of my left ear than I cared to back in March but of course not as invasive as your procedure.

Stan,
Sorry to hear about your upcoming loss... Don't worry about missing out on the wet tee-shirt contests, I've found they are much more fun as a spectator anyway. Seriously, I met a guy years ago who'd also had a radical mastectomy, and he had survived just fine... The recovery and rehab exercises were a bitch, he said, but the prospects can indeed be good for the long term... things worked out quite well for him. Best of luck to ya!!!

Tell Cletus to stop crying... you're going to be fine. Seriously, I hate to hear about your troubles and hope it all turns out for the best. Turning 50 is not bad but 2020 does suck.

Well, at least you have options and they caught it early. We'll be pulling for a quick recovery.
Reference that lifting more than 10 lbs.
You could always ask the wife to assist. That's part of that for better or worse thing.....

Stan - good thing they caught it NOW while your chances of remission / recovery are quite high. As another male - I'd probably do the radical and pass on radiation if it wasn't strictly necessary.
Best luck no matter what you decide to do.

After a certain reconstruction surgery and recovery time frame, she had another outpatient surgery to have a nipple looking tat. According to several who claimed to see them, they looked real. So, there's still hope for you. Rams

I think you doing right thing remove the nip. In my case, remove about 1-2lbs. ( maybe even 3 lbs) underneath the nip area to get rid of my man boobs as well.... You got me beat by 2 months age 50, yah should consider doing the old flushing out and sticking up bit myself. :'( not sure what it is, but age 50 in 2020 has been an overall bummer for me as well these older bones are not moving as well as in 2019 for some reason, especially my right leg are giving out on me or more so my inner groin area but on my right leg limping like a 90 year old man all summer long and stiff joints/legs, etc. more so in 2020 than all other prior years combined. If I lay down and attempt to lift my right leg up, sometimes I cannot will NOT go up which is VERY odd all due to my inner groin/crotch area of my right upper inner leg area like my joint is busted, very odd. Left leg area fine. anyways, when I always think of Cletus I get that he must be a close relation to Scuzz Twittly: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=56duVYLsd4Qhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gscM2vpUXIchttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BkwjjMiHoCIHe has his shirt on in the above top 2 videos so is not a sin to keep it on I guess not showing off the nips. Although, on the last video above, Cletus came out with his shirt off showing the nips. this last one sums up turning age 50: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tEmaJ_LQkss

Look at the bright side, Stan. After surgery you will be lighter and more streamlined - maybe you will shave some time off your school zone radar foot races!

As far as a new handle goes, I suggest cyclops, or mononip, or uniboob, or uno. Tucker (after the single headlight car) would also be appropriate. Seriously, hoping it all works out for you.
