Oss I don’t know when or why. Maybe there’s more to come and Barr is hold his cards close to, his vest in this to “go all in” when the time comes. Proof, proof and more proof.

And if might be that, if the information is as bad as I think it will be, showing that at the highest levels of the Obama administration they were actively trying to prevent Donald J. Trump from becoming the President, and this information was released before the election and Trump wins re-election, it would be one more "issue" that they could possibly use to de-rail his legitimate re-election.

On the other had it might well be "self protection".  If Trump is re-elected then the information of how high up the cabal went can be re-leased with no worries of repercussions from the administration. 

On the other hand, if Trump is not re-elected, the information on the higher ups involved can easily be buried (as it has been in the the past) and those who "know" can have some protection from the new administration.

One thing I will say is that no matter what, the anti-Trump people won't accept anything that goes against the left wing party. If, as it should happen, that these folks get arrested and prosecuted, there will be cries that it was nothing but a setup by the dictator (as they already consider him) to remain in power. Guarantee it.

While I sort of agree with you "Oil Burner" what just crossed my mind in reading your post really ticks me off. 

Lets suppose that Trump wins re-election.  Lets suppose that Bar and Durham get to the heart of the matter about what happened.  Lets suppose, further, that people in high places are judged and found guilty. 

In four years there will be another election.  Lets suppose a Democrat wins the White House and with the general results that in most of these cases the same party wins the Senate and House or Representatives. 

What is the probability that these new persons in power will pardon those previously found guilty?   The Deep State does exist and it will take more than four years to eliminate it from our government.

The USG is simply way too big.

Government employment operates separately from market forces and causes a disconnect from the economy.  During downturns, many businesses have to pull back on operations or payroll, but since Washington has the power of taxation and printing dollars, there is no incentive for tightening its belt beyond vapid election year promises.

Federal workers often enjoy pay and benefits that private sector workers can only dream of.  For example, they receive pay that is 17 percent higher on average than private sector employees who perform comparable work, even though they work 12 percent fewer fewer hours on average.  Meanwhile, federal workers face a 0.2 percent chance of getting fired in any given year.  That is more than 45 times lower than their private sector counterparts.

When you factor in state and local governments, which together employ 7.4 million workers, the entire government workforce as a share of total employment in the nation sits at more than 18 percent.

So, considering this, it's pretty clear that institutionally, all G puts itself first before the people (and always will).  Really, the only reason they let us live is to generate income to pay taxes to fund the beast.

So a Deep State should surprise no one.
