I search craigslist almost every day and large cities in my state now don't even have one to sell.  Prices have stabilized standard and tourers go on average between 3500 to 5500 dollars.  And the Interstates still command more money about 5000 to 7500 range. Of course there are still those out there asking much more for pristine low mileage examples.

My local service shop has a ‘98 standard for $2500. 83K miles. They also have a ‘99 IS asking $6495.

I see more on Facebook Marketplace than Craigslist these days, now that Craigslist started charging $5 to post a motorcycle for sale (at least where I live; not sure if that's a nationwide thing or not).

They've always been rare in my neck of the woods, don't know why. Its never made much sense to me the low resale value of these monsters. I really feel these have become classics and the prices should reflect that. But,,,,

They are not rare.  However, unless I attend a Valk ride, I go years without ever seeing any but mine.

They are true classics, but too many were made to become collectors.  (except maybe a few color combos)

But with some care and maintenance, they just won't die.

They are getting old, but not as old as this horse (he hasn't moved an inch in years).

If you're in the market, join a few of the Valkyrie groups on Facebook.  There are Valks coming up for sale every day at reasonable prices.  I already have two bikes but if I see the right Interstate for the right price....anything could happen!

I still see a number of older Valks on Craigslist in Phoenix. A number of Valk trikes too. I have a '99 Tourer and a 2002 GW, both are great machines.

yep, facebook marketplace is 20x's more cycles than craigslist, at least where I live, and usually cheaper as well.  seeing Valks anywhere from 2500 to 7K.  The market has dropped and pretty much bottomed out I would think?  4 to 5K seems to be the average pricing give or take..  I know I would not let my 98 Valk tourer go for under 4K while the I/S 5K.  Might as well keep them if much less right?
